Minelab Vanquish 440 Metal Detector Bundle with Profind 15 Pinpointer

I've had two different Garrett Ace series detectors, a Makro Simplex+, and a cheap Bounty Hunter. None of them were as good as this. Within two weeks, I had already found more coins and relics than I had in the few years with my other detectors. And I detected in the same fields as the others. I'd absolutely recommend this.The pinpointer is great too. I was nervous, because I always preferred the Garrett carrots, but this is just as good.Both are worth the purchase for sure.

Pros: lightweight, ease of use, loud enough on a beach I don't need headphones. I don't have to worry about a little rain or ocean spray knocking out my detector.Cons: PinPointer doesn't always turn on. The single button to turn on may be defective. Color- not a fan of red tools.I find dimes and pennies 6-12" in sand on a face pace very often. I found a copper/silver ring within 15min of starting it up on my very first try. Super fun and great exercise.

Perfect set up for a beginner.

Detector itself works great, accessories are junk. One side of the headphones work, and no volume adjustment. The pinpointer comes on, then immediately turns off. Not what I was expecting from MineLab. Three stars overall, but as I stated, detector is fine.

Very overpriced with the cheapest pinpointed that is included. The pinpointer isn’t worth $10.00.
