Tide Mountain Spring HE Turbo Powder Laundry Detergent, 68 Loads 95 Ounce

Every time I open the box, loose powder spills everywhere from the edges. But I prefer the powder to the liquid.

I love Tide, don't get me wrong but Amazons shipping practices have to improve. I have Tide on monthly subscription and only one box has made it our Post Office intact (I use that box to pour all damaged boxes into). The packing party puts it in a big box with a few airbags and it just tumbles around in the box leaving Tide everywhere it goes.This month was EXTRA special...they shipped the Tide with 2 10lb bags of King Arthur flour. The tide managed its way into the flour that were open at the tops and flour bags split down the sides. Amazon you have to do better "(

Several years ago when I bought my brand new Maytag, our plumber came over to install it. He gave me some excellent advice: always use powder, not liquid, detergent (liquids, he said, do a number on the rubber mechanisms of a washer), and he recommended Tide.For the heck of it, I followed his advice, and I can say he didn't steer me wrong. I've never had any problems with the washer: nothing, nada. Absolutely perfect performance. Nothing smelling or weird in the washing machine. And my clothes have been cleaner and brighter than with any detergent I've ever used. Every single stain comes out, no matter how long it's been sitting. (I do add a half cup of Borax, and between that and the Tide, my wash has never been better.)I know Tide isn't cheap, but IMHO, it's worth the money. I've also found the price on Amazon, especially with Subscribe & Save, can't be beat.I'm late to the game, so to speak, with getting on the Tide bandwagon, but it definitely was worth the swtich. I used to buy cheaper detergent what ever was on sale. I then noticed I was throwing away tee-shirts and socks more often and I would have to wash them in heavy wash all the time and even then I was not happy.I bought some Tide and was impressed on how much cleaner everything was.I can wash things in cold water and they get clean and my Gym clothes also have no funky smell anymore.The price is the only thing I don't like.Tide bottles have these tags on them at drugstores cause people steal this stuff,Laundry detergent of all things. I am a Chemist and I add 98% pure T.S.P. to my box( I have very hard water) and two table spoons for the dirtiest laundry makes it clean even better, keeps my septic tank cleaner and one box will last me 10+ months . I would have given it 5 stars but I think Persil (Imported powder only) works a tad better but is more $.
