My fridge has a part number that couldn’t be found on web anymore. Therefore no way to find the manual and figure out the part number for a small plastic cam. I bought 3 different models to try out and this model works perfectly for the upper part of the lower side door. The lower part of the lower side door needs a different model.

I have a Frigidaire Model PLHS68EESB2 Refrigerator that had its upper Hinge Bearing (Frigidaire 240328203 Hinge Bearing) and closing cam (Whole Parts Refrigerator Door Closing Cams (2 Pcs Set) Part # 240457702) break, causing a loud popping noise when opening and closing the door when a gear would slip in the hinge bearing sliding over the closing cam.Eventually the plastic parts ripped apart completely, resulting the door not closing on its own and even opening on its own and a terrible grinding noise and the door would hang down considerably.Recommend purchases BOTH the hinge bearing and closing cam above to fix Frigidaire Model PLHS68EESB2 Refrigerator. Search yt for 'Fridge door won't close' and 'Whirlpool Fridge Door Won''t Close Tight DIY Fix' for videos on exactly how to remove door and fix. Takes 10-15 minutes and can be done alone.

This hinge bearing is what makes a refigerator door fully close. The original one had worn away. If the doors are not alligned, and the door does not close on its own, this part needs to be replaced. Part sent was OEM and fit perfectly.

The door on our refrigerator had been squeaking for months and was not closing like it used to. With increasing frequency the door was often being left partway open as its closure was requiring an ever increasing amount of force. Upon a visual inspection of the door movement while opening and closing, the door had no vertical movement as it should have with a door hinge cam in good condition. A visual inspection of the bottom hinge of the refrigerator door revealed a number of plastic fragments that were remnants of the old door hinge cam.This replacement part was moderately easy to install. There are several good installation videos (search for "refrigerator door hinge cam installation"). The one thing missing from all videos I reviewed was an easy preventative measure that will prolong the life of your new plastic cam. That measure is to apply a small amount of "food safe" grease (like Super Lube) to the cam face which is the part that contacts and rides on the bottom hinge as the door is opened and closed.The part works great. While the cost of this part was a relatively small price to pay to restore the door operation, I had expected the price of a small plastic part to be no more than $4. Having received the part in 2 days was worth the price.

Fixed my fridge from not closing as it should. Replaced the top piece too smooth as mayo now!

Perfect replacement and extremely easy to switch out with the old one. If you can open the fridge you can replace this yourself. No need to hire a professional.
