The black colour may highlight some of the dirt or coloured stains near your computer, (I have psoriasis so some of my scale are around the pads/cushion). The base of the pads are not sticky enough to stay at the table ( my solution is to place a double sided tape to stick the pad to the able, although im afraid that the tape may damage the base of the pad but I will find out as the days goes by. It stated Anti-skid but it is skidding slowly.

Found this to be comfortable to use and it helped take the pressure of my mums wrists as she says her wrists don't hurt anymore when shes typing her documents from work. I believe what the bible says in proverbs 22 verse 29, that a man skillful at his work will not stand before common men, so this keyboard rest has helped my mum improve her skill in typing!
