It’s very thin and light.

I just heard about this type of device in a moms group recently and it peaked my interest. I bought two(one blue and one pink) for my children and they LOVE THEM!They’re so easy to use and seem to be pretty tough. I appreciate that they come with two pens(I keep one in a cupboard for back up).I enjoy using them for name writing practice and they have fun writing and drawing. I must admit their writing and drawing has improved quickly while using them as well. I’m astonished at how clearly my 5 and 3 year olds draw hearts, houses, strawberries, volcanoes, the list goes on and I don’t have to guess anymore-lol!The best part is that we went on a road trip that typically takes us 10 hrs with pretend potty breaks, arguing, crying and whining. Not this past weekend! 7.5 hours and NO pretend potty breaks, crying or arguing! A little bit of whining tho-haha! But mainly they loved these little boards and showed each other all of the awesome things they could draw.The only thing I’d change would be that it came with a cord to attach the pen to the board. But I’ll look into rigging something with string. It seems simple enough to do.

It comes with an extra battery and a tiny screwdriver. We made the mistake of opening the spare thinking we had to install it (was a gift so we wanted to make sure it worked out of the box) only to find out it did have one already in it. It works great and the three year old we gave it to loved it! She loves practicing her letters and using the button to start over.

We purchased this writing tablet as a gift for our 7 year old daughter, who had taken to sneaking pens and paper into her bed at night to color pictures. Suffice it to say, she'd leave ink all over her sheets and blankets. When we saw this product, which was already highly rated, we decided to give it a try. The price was right and the the reviews were strong. That said, the reviews don't do the tablet justice. It is extremely light-weight yet sturdy, which is great for our daughter. The colors are fairly vibrant and the table is reasonably well-lit, especially at night time. The battery seems to last awhile (and the manufacturer sent an extra one JIC). It comes with a solid, built-in holder for the pen. The pen itself isn't permanently affixed to the table so there's no risk that little kiddos will hurt themselves with it. All-in-all, we're thrilled with the purchase, with not having to wash the sheets so frequently, and with the cost and ease of use. Literally, you push one button to clear the screen (which is easy to do) and otherwise just write or color away. Well worth it and I would purchase it again in a second!

Testing out LCD boards for students to use as "scratch paper" during exams. We're using dry-erase whiteboards for most of the students, but needed an alternative for lefty/ lefties (left-handed students) because their palms would smudge/erase the marker from the whiteboards.This one (red tablet on the right side) writes smoothly and easily. Is fairly legible. The orange tablet on the left side is another manufacturer's LCD board. This one (red) does NOT have a lock feature to keep from accidentally erasing. It does include a nice little neoprene type sleeve. The backside of this tablet looks unfinished. Overall, feels pretty cheap, and to be fair, it's not terribly pricey (purchased at $14.99 plus tax). Red tablet shipped w/ some nice extras: 2 adhesive magnetic strips (so you could potentially hang on fridge), and a tiny screwdriver, which I'm assuming would be for replacing battery eventually.Still, the orange competitor's board is just a hair easier to read, and feels a little less cheap in hand.Can't speak for longevity-- only just received these boards and they're going out to students to use. Will update this review if I have more to add in the future.

The last doodle board I bought claimed to be able to stay up with the stylus, as the picture showed. But it was a failure, not designed for the stylus to hold it up. This time I changed brands, and this one has a stylus that DOES work to hold it up. That's one feature. Not so good - you cannot lock the picture. On my other board, there's an on/off switch and in the off position, you cannot erase your picture. Not the case with THIS one. Another plus: This one came with a tiny screwdriver for replacing the battery, and an extra stylus. The other board did not have these features. Between the two, I slightly prefer this one. But one negative thing, it comes with a rubberized case and it stinks like rubber tires. I can't have that smell near me.

I waited to write a review for these tablets. I ordered 3 tablets, 3 months ago and they are absolutely wonderful. With virtual school they are so versatile and one push if the button, erases clean to start over. The kids fight over them because they are so much fun!! Much better than the magnetic boards (with the little filings in)..I am still on the first battery and they get used very often. They are so light weight and come with a case to store them in. I would recommend these for 3 year olds and up....great for learning to write numbers and letters because a quick push of the button erases screen clean and can start over fast. We take pictures of the work they do on the tablets and send them virtual to the teachers...I cant say enough about how easy they are to use and are holding up well with kids ages 3,4,4,6,&8. Thank you for a great product!!! 😃 I may buy more just so the kids don't fight over them....they even sneak them home in their backpacks!!!! 🤣

The screen works well but very cheap device not worth the money I brought this due to the reviews that they were all good and when I recieved I knew why when you get item you can get another for free by leaving a review hence all the good reviews even at half the price item is not worth money had this for a week now and as you can see from pic all colour come of from around the boarders don’t get me wrong my granddaughter did like it but very cheaply made thin plastic if it was better made would be worth the price

I highly rate this writing pad. It’s a great size and fun to see the colours emerge when you draw. The lines are clear and stand out well on the black background.One press of the button to erase. It took me a while to figure out how to detach the stylus from the top but it’s easy when you know how, plus they supply a spare.Also love that you can fix magnets to back so it can stay on the fridge - useful for grownups to leave notes or shopping lists!

I bought this for my 4 year old son as he loves writing and drawing but was going through way too much paper. He uses it every day.There is a place at the top of the tablet that holds the pen securely in place, so the pen won't get lost when moving or storing it away. It comes with a second pen though, just incase.It is lightweight and thin and fits easily in a handbag or a child's backpack. My son has used this at home, outdoors, in the car, in the doctors waiting room. It's great for keeping kids occupied.I've bought 3 or 4 of these writing tablets now (different styles and brands). This one is the best one yet and has lasted the longest, and still works like new after a lot of transport and heavy use.I would recommend this writing tablet to any parent of a toddler or young child. It's great value for money.

Bought this as part of my sons 8th birthday presents, he absolutely loves it! Spent ages drawing and doodling and loved that you can rub out so easily- asked straight away if we could take it to the caravan in the lakes when we go, which shows how much he likes it as he’s not asked to take anything else! You get spare battery, stylus and teeny tiny screwdriver and magnetic strips in case you want to keep it on the fridge-which is really good! Would definitely recommend!

Bought this for my 3 1/2 year old to encourage some drawing and writing. He loves the bright red colour. Really user friendly and does exactly as described. Nice touch that it comes with an extra battery and ‘pen’. Only improvement would be a little loop to attached the pen with. Great price with Amazon prime deal.
