Previously I had a bulk standard tefal steamer. It was well used but showed signs of wear and tear with the plastic steaming baskets cracking.I did a lot of research into my next steamer investment. I had some reservation on whether a steamer is worth nearly £100. I decided to buy with an open mind and so glad I did.I chose this steamer because of the metal baskets, convenience of cooking, volume capacity and cooking power (watt). The steamer has 3 individual cooking sections that can have 3 different cooking times set. What impressed me was I can set the longest cooking time say 30mins and then 25 mins and 15mins at the same time. Then once the 30 min timer hits 25 mins the next section begins to steam automatically and so on to the 15mins. This means you can prepare everything in their sections set the timer for each section and go and sit down until the alarm goes off. Another useful attribute is the steamer will automatically keep the food warm until ready to serve. The baskets are solid along with the glass lids and very easily washed in hot soapy water.There is a plastic version of this which looked at. Honestly, for an extra £25 it's worth going for this because of it should last longer with no cracking.

A great product. Perfect for a retired couple. Easy to set up. Excellent for fish, vegetables etcCooks to perfection. Works well and easy to clean and maintain.

Having experienced the predecessor of the Morphy Richards Intellisteam with plastic trays, I understand the struggle when they succumb to damage. In my case, I ended up purchasing a whole new unit because the steamer's performance was just that impressiveâ "sometimes you have to bite the bullet.The control and the ability to set separate start times for each compartment were standout features for me. It allowed for a hassle-free cooking experience, preventing the common issue of overcooking certain items. For instance, carrots and swede in the front left for 40 mins, potatoes in the rear for 30, and cauliflower and broccoli in the front right for 12 minsâ "all perfectly coordinated.However, the plastic trays, though efficient, couldn't withstand the test of time and dishwasher encounters. The struggle to find replacement trays was real, and unfortunately, Tefal ceased production of my beloved model.Enter the Morphy Richards 470006 Intellisteam. The shift to metal trays is a game-changer, offering sturdiness that the plastic counterparts lacked. The single dividable front tray is a welcomed improvement, adding versatility to its usage. The glass lids are a nice touch, more durable than the previous plastic ones.This new release retains all the features I loved from the earlier model, making it a vast improvement on an already fantastic product. Highly recommended for those who appreciate the convenience of intelligent cooking and durability in their kitchen appliances.

This Steamer is the best steamer I ever had, so easy to use, easy to clean, specially the veggies add taste so much nicer, no plastic smell or taste, highly recommend this steamer.New year dinner is second time used now, I just notice this steamer able to separate compartment 🤩 wow 🤩 all the housewife should have this steamer at home, so easy to use 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Nice looking steamer works very well you can set the Finnish time so that all food is ready at the same time and then it keeps warm I had salmon new potatoes and french beans and my meal cooked and finished at the same time even though the items needed different cook time.The only thing i am not so keen on is the clean up as if you have a dish washer as I do the trays etc almost take up all the room in the dishwasher.

Excellent steamer, I like the separate sections that allow different types of food to be cooked to be ready all at the same time. Once set it can be left to get on with it while I do something else. It doesn't take up too much space and is easy to clean.

There is to nothing to dislike about this steamer. Bought to replace an old 3 tier stack steamer. The Morphy Richards was expensive so I took a while to consider spending that much but I am so glad I did. A great item you can steam different types of vegetables with individual times for each one and set to finish at the same time. You can also steam fish however I have not tried that yet. Very sturdy and easy to clean and looks good. I would recommend this one.

Steams food but when washed up the baskets hold water in the handles and then spit it out when you move them out of the dishwasher. It is a larger overall size than expected and doesn’t fit in the kitchen under the extractor fan easily. The divider in one basket is a bad fit so doesn’t really allow you to steam half the basket for a shorter time as it should do.I will be getting another tefal one like my last one. This was a hard lesson to learn for that amount of money.
