Smells like tar but really helps to soothe the itchiness. Use it daily to help calm the scale down. My hair feels really soft and makes my hair feel clean.

This shampoo literally changed my life. It might not work for everyone in the world but if you have really bad Psoriasis like I did it's worth a try. Mine was so bad it bled and my hair started falling out and it travelled down from my scalp to my ears. I spent years and years trying to get help. Then one day a doctor pulled out a big book and went through it and gave me this on prescription. At first it burned really badly and large flakes of skin started falling off my scalp. But within a couple months my Psoriasis was gone and it's never really come back that was 7 years ago now. I only use it once every few weeks now . I still sometimes get a very dry scalp and itchy but never has the severe Psoriasis come back. When I do get the dry scalp I just use it a little bit more and it's gone again. I really can't praise this shampoo enough. Give it a try and stick with it! Yes it smells terrible. Yes it burns sometimes. But this is a small price to pay.

First time I used this, seeking a replacment for the discontinued t-gel theraputic. So far very pleased, although there is a tiny bit of polytar smell, it is very minor. Lathers easily and so a very small amount goes a long way. Reduce ichiness after 1 use and left hair feeling good. I would like the option of a bigger bottle, but given you use small amounts it is fine. I use every other wash and my head feels comfortable. I didn't notice any lingering smalls of the ingredients.

I've been having issues with a very itchy scalp (no dandruff) for a while. Don't know why at all but it drove me crazy! I'm on a waiting list to get an allergy test done but in the meantime this was ruining my day, every day! After reading reviews and checking the NHS website, I decided to give this shampoo a go. And I'm very happy I did. I've used it 7 times now and I no longer have an itchy scalp, at all! First two times I used it I did scratch a few times a day but nothing like before! Now it does smell, but I must say I don't mind it 😅 from the bottle it smells like pool/ biljard balls and when you put it on your hair it smells like outdoor varnish so it might not be for everyone but it cured my itchiness so I'm sticking with it! It lathers very well and I don't need a lot at all. Value for money? For me personally: absolutely! Can't recommend it highly enough 😄👍🏼

Great for scalp eczema. No fragrance to be allergic to!

Seems to,work quite well and leaves my hair clean. The penetrating smell quickly disappears.
