The negative reviews that exist on these mini brick sets decrying them and comparing them to Legos are ridiculous. For a fraction of the cost they are intricate, fun and satisfying to complete. My 9 year old LOVES doing them. Sure you could pay $900 for a similar Lego set that might have more details, like a deranged Lego lunatic in the Lego Oval Office demanding the bricks be recounted, but for just $39.99, I can definitely live with that omission. We will be moving on to the Titanic next.....my son doesn’t realize we will be listening to Celine Dion the entire build. Some of life’s perfect moments are best a surprise, buckle up buddy.....both my heart, and mini brick building will go on.........

My son is autistic savant. I bought this set by mistake and I think it this is my favorite mistake ever. LolSuper challenging. For me almost impossible. The only thing my son had to say was that it was too small. This is what makes this item so amazing bc the final product is amazing. Thank you. Will buy again.

Both this for my kid for Christmas and she aid it was very challenging to put it together

Overall I am satisfied with this White House. The microbricks aren't that bad. My complaints are that the directions are not good. You really have to pay attention and take your time. Also, the way that the bricks are bagged is purely random. You pretty much have to open up all the bags at once and search through all of them. They are not broken down by chapter like legos. It takes more time to find what you're looking for.All pieces were there, along with a lot of extra.I included a side by side picture of both this White House and the Lego version so you can see the difference. Same building but 2 very different builds. If you are wanting to do a build on a budget, I do recommend this.

Bought it for my 9 year old son that's studying about the white house/ government. Kid finished it in 3 days ... total of 12hr spent from when he opened the box to the last peice he put on ....Great product and really cool to see the face of accomplishment that he has when he finished...Now he's going to start on BIG BEN .....

All the negative reviews are clearly people that have never tried micro sets. The directions are surprisingly straight forward compared to other micro sets we have (ie. They actually label the piece and give you a number with how many will be needed in that particular step). If you’re new to microsets they are more appropriate for tweens/teens/adult age. My younger kids (8 and 9) have built micros with the small individual animal sets, but this would be too involved for them without parental help.The challenge of the directions makes for more time building as opposed to large Lego sets that are easily built in a day. The price is unbeatable. Couldn’t be happier with this set and plan to buy many more.

The pieces are mini and hurt my grandson’s fingers when connecting a few pieces together, but mostly it went well. I liked that there were plenty of pieces to keep him involved for many hours. The finished product looks great and my grandson has it proudly displayed in his bedroom!

I purchased this for a project and was excited to try a scaled down 'lego' set. It arrived in an exceptionally nice package, with very clear pictures of the completed model and some information about it written on the box. As expected, the box was pretty small, and it was only filed a bit more than 1/2 way just because the pieces were so small.And, when I say small, i mean VERY small. I had to put on my glasses just so I could see them properly.Anyway, the completed model is similar to the pictures on line, with one major exception - the pictures on line show perfect pieces; which, is not how they are. Many of them are warped just because they didn't have enough strength in them to hold their shape after the injection molding process. They are too hot when they come out of the molder and as they cool, they warp. This is especially true for the longer pieces.Needless to say, the rest of the model was the same. Very small pieces. Warped pieces. Difficult to see. etc.The worst part is the instructions. They're awful and very misleading. Many of the instructions are incorrect showing pieces going to incorrect locations, thus making this model even more difficult than it already was.Pros:The small parts allow more detailed modelsThe price is niceCons:The pieces are warpedThe pieces are difficult to put togetherThe pieces are very very smallthe instructions are very badWould I recommend this?
