Bodacious Blue - ORS Curls Unleashed Color Blast Temporary Hair Makeup Wax

Vibrant color. Made the curls POP! The product has a good hold (firm/crunchy) for 4C curls without over drying. It has some flaking but not much and is easy to wash out.

My friend tried this on her afro puffs and it looked so pretty so I tried it on my locs. First thing, definitely wear gloves when applying. It cleans off easy but gloves save you alot of time. As long as the product is wet, it will get on everything so be sure you have time to dry completely before putting clothes on and being active. Once it was dry(it is beeswax so it dries hard, and really defines every curl on your head) I was fine...but I did go out and danced at a Juneteenth block party...and I started sweating! The wax started dripping right along with my sweat. That's my only red flag. As long as you stay dry it'll be fine. At night I wrapped my locs up in my bonnet and it did have a little blue on it the next morning, but washed out very easily. Definitely have your hair wrapped up if you're participating in grown folk business so you not dripping on yourself or your partner. I got plenty of compliments on the color, and I'll probably order more colors in the future.

I used it and left it in for a whole week before forming an opinion and there are some pros and cons. Pros: Easy to apply and doesn't take more than an 30 mins- an hr Very vibrant Coverage is amazing Colors lasts for a full 3-5 days before fading Very easy to wash out of hair Cons: Dries out the hair (I would suggest deep conditioning before applying) It bleeds a lot (on hands, on pillows, on sheets, but it is really easy to wash off of fabrics) Hard to wash off hands (USE GLOVES, USE GLOVES, USE GLOVES!!! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, and try not to touch your hair too much after color is applied) Using your everyday hair care products will make it fade faster and bleed more This is neither a pro or con, just something I noticed. It slightly changed my curl pattern while it was in. It gave my hair more of a relaxed curl when my hair is usually like a coil curl. I will buy more in the future when I am looking to experiment with more colors.

Although this is temporary, it shows up well on dark hair. It is easy to apply. Leaves a cast on curls similar to a gel once dry.

I have used several different hair clays before and this one is by far the best one. It won't on with Ease and it smells amazing. It can last up to 2 weeks, depending on your hair maintenance routine. The color looks amazing on me and be sure to use gloves. I ordered 2 more colors and will definitely order more.

I have jet black thick hair and always had trouble getting any color other than red to show in it, including when I bleached my hair. I tried 2 other waxes before this and I was disappointed. I washed my hair, applied some leave in like the directions said and dried my hair a little before applying the wax to my wash and go. It was not as messy and all over the place as other waxes, but I did use gloves. It dried overnight. It had a bit of crunch to it like a gel. After separating my curls and scrunching a little, it softened. There was barely any color transfer or color flakes as I handled my hair. The color basically stayed the same bright blue as in the container. I will be buying other colors to try but I highly recommend so far!!!

The Good... 1. Vibrant color 2. Makes hair look shiny 3. Smells GREAT The Bad... 1. It makes my hair so hard 2. Feels like something is glued to my head 3. Messy 4. Looks uneven when dries up on short hair like mine as in my pictures 5. Can't comb or brush your hair after it dries

Great product and came on time. I have pitch black hair and it still worked on me. Very little rub off once dry and was easy to wash out.

I love these the fact that I could wash it out anytime. I love the vibrant colours. Thank you.

I like this product it’s very pigmented and easy to clean up only problem is it will make my hair stick together and harden so I have to brush my curls out, currently trying different techniques to stop this from happening.

This is fun, quality product to use on my Afro. It's easy to apply and to wash out after a day or many (3-6). I use a bonnet at night to stop colour transfer to pillow case - and to protect my hair. Some colours are better than others - the gold one doesn't pop unless you seriously over-apply the wax, but this Bodacious Blue is really bright and has about 8 applications on a short afro.

I have use dye wax before and never had an issue, I used this one and found that the colour was fading and turning. I peeled off a label that was stuck on later, like they are purposefully hiding important information and the information I could not find on here either. It states under the label that you apply to wet hair or with leave in conditioner and it also states not to use with blonde hair. On the other side, the colour in the tub looks ok but when you apply it, the colour is washy and fades. Also it stains the skin and hard to wipe off. Having used a few different ones before, this is by far the worst one out there.
