I came here after the TikTok hype. Mine arrived early but tasted like it was old or expired.

Delicious Persian snack
This fruit roll is delicious and was not what I was expecting, and I was expecting the highly manufactured fruit rolls of my childhood lunch days. You can taste the mango (and apple)after putting it into your mouth, and then the salt appears along with a citric acid taste. I immediately went to the internet to begin to understand what this Persian fruit snack is all about. The company website lists the ingredients as: mango, apple, salt, and citric acid - the tastes track. Then I learned that salt is a common ingredient for the "lavashak", and is used to increase the shelf life. The salt taste is more of a contrast to the other flavors than a "it's salty" sensation. Check the nutrition information; you'll see that the sodium barely discernable. After eating a bit you'll notice your tongue more tired from the citric acid taste than the salty taste. Anyway, tastes very good and as advertised, and highly recommend!

High quality fruit leather!
This fruit Leather is delicious! Here is my list to sum it up! - Fresh. - Easy to store. - Came well packed. - Made of good ingredients. - Good texture. - Great for on the go. - Not too thick/thin. - Good size. - Simple. - Nice balance of flavors. - Smells really nice. Overall, this fruit leather is extremely simple and tasty!

Fruit goodness
The Shemshad Lavashak Mango fruit “leather” is like a fruit roll up – but not so sweet, and it’s THICK like leather. Great fresh mango flavor. Firm and chewy but not excessively so. The packaging has a ziplock type seal along the top, but once a few inches of the fruit have been torn away, it’s a bit difficult to pull it up because it clings/sticks to the packaging so firmly. But, it’s a bit addicting so I get in there and keep tearing more off!

Fruit layer has no taste
This mango Persian fruit layer tastes terrible. I get no flavor of any fruit whatsoever. It is just a thick piece of unidentifiable food that tastes pretty nasty. I tried to use it several ways: just eating “raw”; heating it up a bit to make is softer; chunking it up and adding to yogurt. Nope. Every way I tried it was a fail.
