Right behind the Bible in importance
This is a seminal book. Very small and quite concise. I am buying several while they are available to share with Christian Brothers and Sisters. JB Phillips is the "stealth" champion of the gospel in modern times and this is his jewel. Lays bare the heart and mind of our LOVING God. I cannot recommend any other book above this save the Word of God! Needs to go to reprint and mass circulation. Please get a copy and read with a prayer on your lips that you will see the TRUTH of who Jesus IS and why he came.
