I'm very happy with this product. It's simple, easy to use, and works as expected. I've used the Oxo version of this kind of can opener for quite a while, and while I like Oxo, this can opener works better.

This is a well made can opener that does not leave sharp edges on the can after use. It also doesn't really require cleaning due to the way it removes the lid wiithout contacting the contents. If you need a new can opener, consider this one.

I bought this for when my battery operated can opener quits. It works so easily very good opener. I love the design, too

I had never tried one of the newer types, so i bought it for the price. Turns out, it’s a great buy. Very comfortable grip, smooth action, magnet so i don’t have to touch the lid, very easy to use, feels odd as if i got an opposite hand one… not sure, but still easy. Smoothly cuts around the cans leaving no sharp edges anywhere. Lid doesn’t fall into the can anymore, so just a little push and it’ll go right in for disposal purposes.Try it, it’s surprising.

Never had one this style (“safety, no sharp edges“). Took me a minute to get slick with it, as far as getting it set right to open the can. After the 1st can, I’m good. I like it, it’s easy to use and easy to clean. The next day my husband needed a quick lesson from me for his first use - he’s not patient and doesn’t like when something different shows up to replace something. After his initial irritation, (why fix something that ain’t broke? why is this different?, etc.) he decided it was cool.My one issue- I’m used to years of using the lid I just opened to strain juice from said can. (Get the water out of the tuna can, fruit juice, etc.) No longer possible with this style.

Works as well as the name brand. I'll be interested to see if it lasts as long.

Some can openers are so hard to turn this one is so easy. Soft grip and super affordable for those can people!

Easy to use

Estaba entre un abrelatas electrico o este, al final me decidi por este por económico, dije para que gastar tanto en un abrelatas, ni que lo usara tanto. Pues lo amé. Super sencillo de usar, no requiero utilizar mucha fuerza y es muy rapido. Solo la primera vez te sacas de onda porque de lo facil y suave que es crees que no esta cortando nada, pero si. Ah y la linea de corte es diferente, mas abajo.

Comodo da usare, talmente comodo che al primo utilizzo pensavo che non stesse tagliando nulla. Poi magicamente, scatola aperta perfettamente. Addirittura con i bordi della scatola non taglienti, quindi raccomandatissimo!

Saw this type of tin opener on a YouTube video (yes, I know... I'm a bit weird like that) and when I saw amazon basics had one, thought why not, I need a new tin opener anyway. This tin opener is life changing (as much as a tin opener can change your life, which isn't a great amount but still). No sharp edges on tins, no having to reset the opener after it doesn't grab onto the tin properly, and probably the biggest benefit, the removed top can be used as a lid! No more plastic wrap or tin foil to cover open tins! Would recommend.
