Nice string, maybe not for me
It's definitely comfortable but not as soft as Hyper g soft and the feeling it gives is not for my taste I like a little bit more of pocketing in my stringbed. Based on that Hyper G soft suits me better. Great strong nevertheless and maybe I'll try again in a few months

The spin is definitely incredible with all the Solinco strings ...
The spin is definitely incredible with all the Solinco strings ... My issue right now is durability... So far I'm not getting amount of play I thought I should from a poly, but I'm tweaking some hybrid combos and the obvious extra spin I get is something I'm not ready to give up so hopefully I can figure out a way to get more wear out of them ! UPDATE: I honestly don't know when the review posted that I wrote above....Since that time over two years now I've been hitting with a combo Tour Bite Soft on mains and Hyper G on crosses...I hit with a tremendous amount of top spin and I haven't seen a string that creates as much spin as Solinco...Just look at the string and see the different shape. It's not a round string like others and put simply it's a matter of physics...less friction string on string means more movement which means more spin......As to the durability I was concerned with a couple years ago, that was corrected by me going to the thicker gauge......It completely enhanced my durability tremendously and I hit the ball pretty hard. I understand everyone is different when it comes to preference but for me I have found that 16L TB soft on main with Hyper G 17G on cross is perfect! One other note to anyone who is transitioning to poly or who thinks they are too stiff......Whatever tension you typically use, I suggest going down aprox 5 lbs initially and see how it feels....I did initially and it made a big difference on feel but also affected the durability until I tweaked it...….If you hit a lot of topspin, you will fall in love with these strings!

Feels good on elbow, shoulder
My son is a tournament level tennis player and breaks lots of strings. The individual packs are great for him To bring to a tournament to get restrung. After trying out a bunch of different strings he settled on this. It is soft enough that it gives and helps eliminate any elbow pain he was previously having. I like it because it lasts a reasonable amount of time before breaking so I don’t have to keep paying to restring!

Stuck on Solinco
I’ve been sold on these strings for a while. I get the 17 gauge, which I find very durable. I’m a 4.0 player who still plays an aggressive game at the age of 69. My wife who is 10 years younger, also a 4.0, likes these strings, too. I string my own rackets and have tried different tensions, as low as 48 in my Head Pro Extreme. I finally figured out 56 pounds was the best for control and power. My wife plays with a Wilson Clash at 55 pounds. I’ve tried different strings and always go back to Solinco Tour Bite. I’m a bit old school, still using a continental grip. I get plenty of topspin on my shots, would get even more with a semi western grip, but as the saying goes, hard to teach an old dog new tricks. I’ve only broken one set of Tour Bite strings. I have three rackets in my bag, I change rackets often during a match, because here in the Florida heat, I sweat a lot and my grip gets slippery. I change out stings two to three times a year, so given the playability and durability, I find these strings are an excellent value.

Love it! Be sure to string at a LOWER TENSION than you would a Synthetic
Love this poly string for my Head Extreme MP racquet. Note to all who use it - since it is polyester, it needs to be strung at a LOWER TENSION than normal if you are used to a synthetic gut string, because it is harder. I had mine strung at 52 pounds and it plays well, doesn't break easily either. For reference, I am a 32 year old, 4.5 women left-handed doubles player. I use lots of top spin on my forehand and kick serve.

I prefer hyper-g regular
These were ok, easy on my elbow but I prefer hyper-g regular. Maybe I should've strung them tighter
