I was really surprised by this product. First of all I’ve tried 3 brands of gel polish and could never get the 2 week salon lasting results.Then I had the polygel kits as seen on IG which gave me great results but was soooooo time consuming. Finally I tried this dip set and it was so freaking easy. I would suggest getting a electronic nail file bc it will help with shaping and buffing faster.The color came out nice. I’ve told ppl I did my own nails and they were amazed. This will save me money at the salon. Plus give my nails strength so they don’t break easily.So the purple is my 3rd she and I get better and better. Do at least 3 layers. The green nails are a different brand (born pretty which is really clumpy but has nice colors). So what I did was used this cop set as the base (purple color) the 3rd layer was the green color on top of the purple. And if cane out nice.

UPDATE: the company tried to bribe me with refund and amazon gift card if I gave them a good review. Hell no! I'm not lying about a product so that other people will buy it. A true and honest company would offer a refund without asking you to make a fake/dishonest review. How about make a better product and don't bribe your customers. Had the company offered the refund without asking for anything in returned...I would have at least gave them another star for the kindness. BYE FELICIA!The powders work ok. But the base and top coat are horrible. The base has to be 100% superglue. They give you extra brushes/tops for replacements however as soon as I put one in the base (the one that came with the bottle needed to be replaced) it immediately hardened solid..useless as a brush. So I tried another one..immediately hard as a rock. I can no longer use the base because I have no brush to use with it. The top coat will make you feel like your nails are on fire . I'm not sure what type of chemical reaction occurs between the activator and the base...but oh my god..painful. The top coat does not leave your nails glossy like I had hoped. More of a dull finish. Overall I will not be buying again.

Great product and easy to use for cost. I am terrible at painting my nails ( no matter how hard I try can never stay within the line - those who know the struggle, know)... Pre COVID went to the salon every 2 weeks regularly. I have strong nails, used to get gel which started to cause nail pain then switched to powder)... took a while for me to get at home kit due to being skeptical with what’s on the market, but after some research landed on this and it did not disappoint (so far).Just got the kit yesterday (after reading reviews decided to watch tutorials prior to receiving my package).. Did my nail prep (cleaned cuticles, filed entire nails and shaped) so when the package arrived half the work was done. Super easy to apply. Did the base, dipped — TIP: let dry before dusting. I did this by doing one hand, dusted fingers on the back, did the other hand, dust fingers then back to original hand to dust off nails/powder —— repeat the process (I recommend 3 overall times as many other reviews for a richer color / what they do in the salon)... then apply activator wait for it to dry.. then file to even color/ further shape (here is where I cleaned up any color outside of the nail — yup still happened but my fault as I got lazy and rushed getting base coat outside of my nail)... then top coat x2 and done!Only gave 4 stars overall since its only been one day (5 stars if lasts longer than 2 weeks - if I can will update). Long review but worth it for those like me who appreciate a thorough review/ walk thru experience of a product (can’t just trust the quick praises and haters)..1) Follow the instructions (don’t just assume how to do it).2) Don’t rush the process (it’s quick & easy enough) - I failed this and next time think it will look a lot better3) if you color outside the lines - next day used cuticle pusher to crack the dried glue and then file it out.

the point of doing nails from home is to be fast and save money... This set checks both of those boxes! it comes with extra brushes which is AMAZING because no matter what set you buy (and I've bought a lot of them) you will more than likely need to get new brushes due to the "Base" being fast drying and sticky. TBH I usually don't use the liquids in these kits... I get a better brand from Sally's beauty supply ($11 EACH) HOWEVER I am super excited about the quality of the liquids, especially for the price, The base dried super fast and I LOVE that. I don't have a bunch of time to do my nails.. the point of doing nails from home is to be fast and save money! When I do dip powder nails (I do mine every one-two weeks) I like powders that take three coats... ONLY THREE COATS. I've gotten some that I have needed 5-8 coats... NOT THIS ONE! it hit right on the money at three coats. and then the activator was actually the fastest drying I've had and the formula let me file after applying the dip powder without smudges or mistakes... and then the topcoat is glossy and pretty. Overall I love this set and the quality is impeccable. Now, I Do want to note that when I bought this based on the photos I thought I was getting 6 dip colors, however; when I look in the description and title it says it only comes with 5 so that was my mistake. I'm overall happy with the whole set even though I didn't notice it only came with 5 colors opposed to 6. OH YEAH! in addition to everything else this set comes with an instruction book, I didn't need it because like I said I do this all the time but that's super handy for beginners and a nail file and powder brush. I'm very happy with this purchase!
