This product is exactly as advertised. The lower grip is a great option when you need to control your dog (near other dogs, small children, or even keeping them from eating something they shouldn't). I would have given it 5 starts if the material was not nylon -- nylon is a bit slippery, therefore harder to hold onto than other materials. I prefer leashes made out of a thicker, matte material. That being said, I knew it was nylon when I purchased it, and the double grip tipped the scales in its favor! I recommend!

Long but GREAT leash
Very durable and well made leash. The 6' is a little long if you want your dogs to walk by your side or fairly close. I probably wouldn't buy it again for this reason BUT if you want your dog to have a lot of leash, I would recommend this. Love having the dual handles!

Bought this to walk our Bernese Mountain dog as he was a bit of a puller. The second handle close to the clip was perfect for most of our walking. We tried gentle leaders & harness but none of them worked as well as this leash. The leash itself is really well constructed, stood up to our dog, and all the seasons/weather (Minnesota). We also live in downtown Minneapolis, so having the shorter handle was great for walking around our neighborhood. Allowed us to keep him close when we needed to (traffic, or other people who weren't excited about our 120lbs dog). It seems like a small thing, but this leash took a lot of the stress away from walking him around our neighborhood.

Good leash
This is a solid leash. The double loop is nice when you need to exercise more control, although I wish it was just a hair higher. All in all, this is a good leash.

Dog leash
Needed a leash that I could have better control with my one dog that gets excited by other dogs walking by us. The extra short lead grip gives me better control over my dog and makes me the "alpha " dog and the one in control of the situation. My dog gets my signal of "no" immediately with the strength, control , and "jerk" from the short lead in my hand.

Waste of money
I used this collar 2 or 3 times and the stitches tore right out.Waste of money.
