I feel like a meme writing this review--like one day you're young and fun and the next you're raving about a vacuum sealer--but oh my goodness I am so excited about this purchase. I've been doing the batch cooking/meal prep thing for about four years now, but am really bad about things getting lost in the back of the freezer for a year or two before I just throw them out because its too much of a pain to thaw. No longer.I've used this vacuum sealer a few times now, and its easy to use to the point of almost being idiot-proof (although for real--don't try to vacuum seal soup. Just don't). Plug it in, stick the food in the bag, close the lid, and hit the button. That's about it. I haven't tried any of the more sophisticated features yet, but I can't imagine they're going to be overly difficult. The bags included are the perfect size for one or two portions, which is great if you're batch cooking but get sick of things quickly. I'm at that age where everyone is either pregnant or parenting small children, so I used this to put together a care package of freezer food this weekend. It was perfect.I've only had this baby for a week and can't speak to how well the seal holds up when I forget things in the freezer for like a year, but the neat little pen included right in the machine at least gives you the opportunity to label and date things properly. Overall, I am VERY pleased with this purchase, and leaning into the fact I'm not a person that writes glowing reviews of products like vacuum sealers on Amazon.

I bought this product hoping it would be able to keep up with both the wet and dry vacuum seal needs of a family of 8 and it did not disappoint! I did find that the dry sealing is stronger than the wet, however, that could be because I put too much liquid into the product I was vacuum sealing. User error is absolutely possible. The unit was very easy to use. As someone who has never used a vacuum sealer before, I was worried it would be complicated but I was able to figure it out very quickly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product!

The machine came with some bags, so I can try many times. I tried some simple shape like the apple using the automatic function (vacum and seal), and it worked fine. As you can see, it is not really tight vacuum but should be OK for use. However, for 'complex' case like multiple shrimps, the machine can get the bag to vacuum first but the vacuum is gone once it turned into sealing mode. As you can see the image, there is no vacuum for the shrimps at all. I tried multiple times. The machine allows manual operation, but it will have similar problem as the automatic vacuum & sealing mode for the shrimps. I got this on black friday for $30. I am not sure if I should return this. Also, I used the bags, so not sure if it is OK to return without all the bags.

Great suction power food sealer! my husband and I like to buy meat for the whole month, pork, beef, lamb, however we do not like to prepare it every single day so we buy in bulk, put all the condiments and vacuum seal it, in that way we can prepare dinner very quickly and always have it almost ready!I also use it to pre prepare my soups!, I add all the meat, vegetables and condiments! then I just put the ingredients in the slow cooker or a regular pot!, this vacuum sealer really saved me tons of time!I used it with spices I got from overseas from my mom! they stay fresh all year until I need them!

We had a vacuum sealer we bought from a store years ago and decided to get a new one. This one is very nice and has made a great seal every time. We actually like this one a lot better than our old one. I also like the fact that there is a place to store the pen and cutter(both included) on the actual appliance instead of them being loose in a drawer to get lost. We have already went threw the bags that came with the machine and have ordered more from Amazon. Will update if anything major comes up but so far we give it 5 stars!

I am a bargain shopper. I recently found a great deal on a 20 pound package of cheese. I bought it, so I needed a Vacuum Sealer. Amazon had this one with a 5 Star rating for under $35. 18 packages of cheese later I still love it. It came with the suction hose (which I haven't used yet) and 2 sizes of bags. My one and one "darn" was that a couple of the bags would not seal. But the unit itself is awesome. I am thinking about buying one for my sister for Christmas.

I just bought this vacuum sealer during a lightning deal and got it for a really good price. This is my first vacuum sealer. I purchased it because I want to start conserving food for longer storage during these crazy Coronavirus pandemic times in order to be prepared for possible food shortages. Despite not having read the manual, I was able to figure out how it worked within a few minutes. I already used this vacuum sealer a few times and each time it performs well. I also like the black simple design and the knife and pencil it comes with on the inside.

I use the product to tightly seal my meats when I separate after market shopping. I got tired of using supplies Freezer bags that weren’t really holding up for a long period of time. So, I’ll see how this does. It also came with a $59 Review Card that in struggling to activate.
