Just received the collectors edition (02.07.15) although they sent the game for download via email. So already completed the game! but let talk about the collectors edition! The big box it arrived in was well packaged and to open up the box to find a nice steel book case with game and Harley Quinn DLC alongs with skins, which i already received via email. the statue itself is quite heavy and well built, also come with batteries to my surprise the statues base lights up! with a hidden switch under a removable magnetic building to the base, batman himself can come off from the statue. You also get a very nicely detailed art book very nice touch! lots of concept art, characters and vehicles, last of all you receive a post Arkham knight comic book, about 5-7 pages (still cool) overall worth the money considering it will be rare to buy this cheap! The game itself amazing! Pros - Amazing story! (not to short) - Good Villains gallery - Batmobile is awesome! - Graphics are drop dead gorgeous - Duel play! - lots of things to do - Amazing cast! Cons - Can get repetitive with the tank battles - Lacking boss battles similar to Mr Freezes boss battle like in Arkham city. Must buy if you are a Batman fan For casual gamers it is a highly recommended game so buy it and give it a go!!!!

The game itself is fantastic if you are a fan of the previous games. What let's this particular version down whole heartedly is the packaging. Very poor. Had to have the first order replaced as the statue, comic book and art book were all damaged... which are the reasons you'd probably buy this edition

Good game but disappointed with the statue, it's completely plastic. The Arkham origins statue was a superb resin statue that is solid and heavy but this is so disappointing. I suppose it's ok for a batman fan but otherwise not worth it, the game co should have done better

I AM BATMAN!!! Absolutley loved this game. Rocksteady have really outdone themselves on this managing to incorporate almost everything you could think of when it comes to being the Batman. The plot itself is just as gripping as Arkham Asylum and out does the scale of Arkham City/ Origins. I dont want to spoil any of the plotline itself as there are a few surprises in store especially for close followers of the game series. I found myself glued to the TV, ignoring my family and friends for almost a week playing through and absorbing everything this game has to offer (that i could discover so far), With appearances from characters I didn't expect and again intriguing side missions that are more than worth your time just for the entertainment value. This includes the appearance of a certain Professor who has haunted my nightmares since I encountered him in his first appearance in comics. The identity of the Arkham Knight was slightly disappointing, I say this because as you play through the game the mystery disappears not as gradually as I would have liked and by the time you unmask the character you're no longer that excited or surprised.. plus, because I had guessed who it was behind that mask before the game was released took away most of the suspense. I was also left a little bit upset by the lack of boss fights, and I don't mean all them hefty tank battles becuase yes they are boss battles, but i missed bataranging Poison Ivy, countering Deathstroke I cant recall any of that going on in this game atall. Dont get me wrong though the boss fights in the Batmobile are fun, challenging and new, I just miss going toe to toe with baddies and the feel of fist in face. The city is rich and detailed with Easter Eggs around every corner alluding to a vast DC game universe, from Kord Industries to Lex Corp I was constantly having to stop mid journey to check these eye treats out. The graphics really are beautiful and the city really feels alive and explorable which is a big step up from Arkham City and Origins which felt more like obstacles rather than a living breathing city with a story to tell on every brick. The controls where a bit of a throw off seeing as im so used to the gameplay of the old Arkham games but it does a good job of keeping Arkham Veterans on their toes and getting the game to feel fresh for them. I don't understand the negativity surrounding the Batmobiles controls. Depending on the individual is how you find the Batmobile, its new and requires practice, I for one found the racing and chasing easy to learn and master but I am however still struggling to master the Battle mode controls, that doesn't mean I should take to the internet and blame the game makers for *boohoo sob* making the game to hard for me to play and complete 100% in under 24 hours. If you want to master the Batmobile then master the Batmobile if you don't then get over it and move on, you want them Achievements your supposed to earn them not get them all handed over for just putting on the Batsuit and calling yourself Batman. I really hope this isn't the end for Rocksteady Batman games, They've apparently shown interest in tackling other Superheroes in video games for the future but i sure hope they come back with a Batman Return of the Dark Knight style game or maybe even a Batman Beyond game. Owell for now.. The Arkham series is dead and im laughing, Rocksteady Batmans gone and im laughing. Now yes there has been a delay in the delivery of this item. But it was not down to Amazon, the product was recalled by WB not by Amazon. They had been promised set amount of editions just like all stockists for all editions and were let down on day of delivery... now with this said i was not informed by product would not be arriving until its actual day of release.. now this i do find unacceptable on Amazons behalf as i'm sure they would have had more notice that it would not be in stock. Luckily I was already getting another copy (a different edition) from my local store so didn't miss out on this game day of release, but I can imagine a lot of angry people who may have been sat in waiting fro delivery with the console already warmed up and ready to go, only to be disappointed and have to go out of there way to get a different copy or wait weeks until this is actually released. My statue is dead and i'm not laughing. I will remember to update this review when my copy arrives.. hopefully *Update* The order was sorted within a week and I was give a 30% discount for my troubles! Seeing as this is an extremely hard to get hold of item and in very limited supply im quite happy about putting up with my mini ordeal! *Update 2* After receiving my collectors edition i have had to reduce my rating down to four stars. The game itself remains fantastic.. But.. the statue.. the whole reason you have to pay nearly double (before my discount) the amount of a normal copy.. If you got the collectors edition of Arkham City you remember the statue was robust and well detailed... the UK collectors edition of Arkham Origins again contained a beautiful statue of Batman and Joker, again strong, robust, detailed a real collectors piece... Now... hmm anyone who got the US collectors edition of origins will remember the hype around the statue, but when it arrived it was cheap plastic, flimsy and poorly detailed with overlays of paint. seeing as this was so poorly recieved by people that had forked out money for this collectors edition i was not worried about this statue in Arkham Knight game. It arrived, I unpacked it, I cursed Triforce and thanked god id got quite a hefty discount. This is not nowhere near worth 90 quid. The Statue was again cheap plastic with flimsy easily breakable no detailing anywhere at all just two different colours of cheap toy brand plastic... yes the statue lights up but you don't want cheap lights you want a quality statue. Im extremely disappointed that this is the final Arkham Statue i will receive.. After the strength of City and Origins i had next to no worry about the quality of the statue. I should have clocked on after the budget cutting poorness of US Origins naff statue and the fact this product was recalled.. which I had heard two different stories. one was that the product was recalled due to poor packaging and the other was that the statue was not up to scratch.. Well the packaging was fine.. the statue is still very poor. What a mess. Game is still amazing.

Another amazing outing for the Dark Knight and one helluva send off! The Collectors Edition is fantastic, the model is very well detailed, although I've yet to get batteries in it to see it light up. I am somewhat disappointed it wasn't like the previous versions statues, and it was a little less detailed than I was hoping in terms of paint work, however it is still a great addition to the collection. The game itself does not disappoint at all! Rocksteady pulled all the punches with this one and it is everything it should have been. Looking forward to getting into the DLC, although hearing that they gave development to some of it to WB Studios, I'm not in high hopes it will be of the same caliber as the main game.
