Great product. Large container packed full!!!! Great flavour and makes all the difference to my Indian dishes. Far better value than the silly little ones bought in supermarkets. Another reviewer mentioned just how much there is.. loads. Have had to vac seal most of it to keep it fresh. Just recently into BIR curries and was unsure how much of a difference this would really make...wow... It certainly does. Its gonna take a while to get through all this amount - but will order more when its finished.

Quite a lot of product so need a few jars to store the large volume. However, this has great aroma and perks up my curry.

Brilliant

I was excited by all the positive reviews for this product as it's been impossible to get fenugreek at the supermarket recently due to current production shortages. However, this item has no smell of fenugreek and tastes nothing like any fenugreek I've ever eaten, it tastes of nothing really. This is frustrating as it was expensive - if it was as expected then the price would be fair for the large quantity, but it's going in the bin so value is poor to say the least.

I acknowledge that we all have different reactions to different products, so have given 3 stars to indicate that the product is not necessarily to blame, here, but thought it important to warn people about the effects. Following non medical advice to drink Fengreek tea to help clear congestion in my lungs, I made a very weak tea out of these leaves, left it to steep for 5 minutes and drank it. About an hour later I experienced, tremors, breathlessness and an increased heart rate, which would indicate a pretty sharp drop in blood sugar levels. I felt very poorly and scared. The general feeling of malaise lasted for about an hour until I ate something. I'm writing this to warn people that the negative side effects of herbal remedies are a real possibility, and that because things are natural does not mean they are safe. Always consult a doctor before taking them.

Fenugreek leaves add a subtle flavour to a curry when you are looking for both flavour and heat. This is of good quality. Experiment with quantity.

Ive had trouble finding dried fenugreek leaves at my local stores, and was happy to find this highly rated brand. Upon opening the jar the incredible scent of fenugreek was strong, and the leaves are whole. This product is very fresh, a lovely color, and the size of the jar is perfect for one that uses a lot of fenugreek leaves. Used this product last night to make Aloo Chana, and the dried fenugreek leaves added a wonderful aroma and taste. Excellent for cooking!

Die Bockshornkleeblätter waren gut verpackt und nach dem Auspacken noch sehr aromatisch und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Ob man dieses Gewürz überhaupt braucht, sei jedem selbst überlassen, aber für einen vollmundigen und authentischen Geschmack indischer Gerichte ist es oft hilfreich.

Very pleasant aroma. About the same strength as dried oregano or sage, although a different aroma which is more Umame meets an undertone of anise, so slight you may not notice. It goes well with curried foods and also with chicken soup or sprinkled on toast with olive oil. The product is a lot more than it looks in the jar. It as packed quite tight.
