So I really like the shade it seems to work really well. I didn’t have to cut it at all and I have a Ford focus.. I did notice that it wasn’t springing back very well but I think that was because I was putting it behind the mirror instead of in front of the mirror and then it seem to work better.I didn’t have any insulation problems at all I thought the directions were fairly clear even if the grammar was bad.However, not being rough with it,The bar to the drivers side suction it’s the shade attaches to win extend it was missing the next time I tried to use itI’ve looked in the car in the driveway I can’t find it anywhere maybe it went down the vent. The suction stayed And the shade seem to helpUpdate one year laterIt was really nice to leave my shade up all winter longIt’s stayed up most of summer but when it got really hot the suction cups did pop offAre use some silicone caulk and replaced it and let it dry and it has been in permanent place sinceThe other thing that started to happen was the bottom the top started the fan out a little bit so I got a really cheap school ruler for $.50 from Walmart and painted it with some scrap paint black and glued it to the edge as an extensionIt would also be a good idea to rubber band the ends together during winter if you’re not using itThe only problem I have with it now is I wish it came with a fourth window holder so that you could actually hook it to the window when it’s closedOther than that I am so glad I bought it I am never without a shield and I don’t have to worry about it being under the seat or in the trunk it’s always where I need it.

I had been looking for a Retractable Car Windshield Sun Shade ever since I got my license some 20 years ago, but they have always been fairly expensive. Then found the KINGMAZI Car Windshield Sun Shade, it was with in my price point, so I ordered it and waited for it to arrive. The instructions in the box are simple, clean the inside of your windshield and stick the suction-cups to the inside of the windshield. Then deploy to use. It is not so simple: 1st) the windshield has to be very very very clean, not a spec of dust or the suction-cups will not stick, I had to use double side tape discs to get them to stick. 2nd) The anchors do not stay in place they do not click into place they only side in and over time and use they will tend to slide out, so I hot glued them in place. The Sun Shade itself if very good at protecting the inside of your car. I live in the US Southwest where summer temps go above 100 degrees (f) and this shade keep the car from turning into an oven. Once you work out the kinks with this product you will enjoy the easy of use and the protection it provides! Bonus: if you can fit the shade without having to cut it, it will provide a lot of privacy.

Ever since I purchased this product it has significantly reduced the amount of heat in my car after entering. I live in Texas where the weather can get up to 110 degrees during the hot summer. I purchased specifically for the summer months when my car has to sit in the sun for hours.Before purchasing I would dread entering my hot car but I am so glad I purchased this!! Upon entering it is easier to withstand the heat as well as making the inside of my car significantly cooler. It also helps my AC cool my car faster because my car was not as hot as it used to be.EDIT: The suction worked really well at first but after using for about 2 weeks the suction began falling off and would not stick to the glass anymore. We live in Texas and the heat is very hot in the summer time so not sure if that is the reason but it has become a nuisance! Would keep falling off as we try to stick it back on even after cleaning our glass.Overall, heat shield is great and decreases the heat in car during summertime, only bad con is that the auctions are terrible.

UPDATE: this broke already. It didn’t last very long. I really liked this product but im not sure if i want to take the risk of getting another one. I like this product because it’s easy to pull out and pull back in whenever you need. The only thing I don’t like is that there was no description saying that if your rearview mirror is on the windshield, that it might be a problem to use this product. This product is great if your rearview mirror Isn’t on your windshield. For me, the product goes over the mirror making a big gap letting sunlight in. I had to cut out a section where my rearview mirror is so it wouldn’t leave a gap.The suction is pretty good I’d say clean your windshield very well before because if not they will pop off once in a while. Also, I had to superglue the little bracket where the product clips when you open it because it kept poping off.Overall though I really like this product. Just wish they were more descriptive. It would be nice if they had a selection of different colors for the product.
