This is a great hammer. The short handle makes it easy to control. The brass head won't break your stamps. As expected, the copper head gets dented, so order a replacement head if you plan to give the hammer heavy use. You might need to also order a 1.5 or 2 pound brass hammer if you are stamping anything harder than copper. I use my hammer for stamping copper plates. I tried other hammers and they were not rated correctly. This hammer has a great weight balance and feels good in my hands. I would buy it again. Its best use is for metal stamping. Never try to drive nails into wood with this hammer. You will be satisfied with this hammer.

Very happy with this. Can finally just grind the tip down a bit and then replace it rather than slowly whittling the entire head into a nub when grinding off the divots. I like to spend my time pounding metal rather than maintaining hammers, and this allows me to do that. Also, this handle is quite nice - the forward arc really allows you to dead drop it a lot easier and save your wrist some reverberations. I had some concern it would not feel as sturdy as the standard hammer, but it feels just as solid. Excellent addition if you do a lot of hand stamping away from presses.

So far I love this hammer its easy to use does not hurt my hands. It is 1lb so I will probably also get a 2lb brass head at some point. But so far its worked great. I like the compact size as well. I plan on doing a lot of stamping this weekend practicing up getting my technique down since I am new to stamping. glad the brass part is replaceable.

Received this hammer in fast, timely manner. Works just as described. Nice and level and heavy, which enables the stamp to come through clearly.

I use this hammer for stamping pet ID tags. I love the fact that the brass end is removable so you don't have to replace the entire thing when it wears out. Only complaint is that it tends to loosen a bit with use, so I have to keep checking and tightening it as needed. Otherwise great!

I have tried a few hammers and Impressart's Brass Head hammer is the best for my craft. It creates a softer hit on the metal Stamps better than any of the other hammers I've used.

Great hammer for stamping. It has a good weight and sits perfectly in my hand. I am just starting out in stamping and this is a much better hammer than the one I started with. I am getting deeper stampings with much more clarity.

Head falls off constantly due to short thread length...also the head gets beat up VERY quickly...I bought b/c it has interchangeable heads...but try to fing them...it's a joke

Ich habe keinen Vergleich zu anderen Produkten dieser Art, aber ich bin zufrieden! Der Hammer liegt gut in der Hand. Gut ist, dass man den "Kopf" ggf. abschrauben und ersetzen kann. Ich habe erst 20 Mal "gehämmert", die Abnutzungsspuren sieht man auf den Fotos. Kaufempfehlung!
