I use these as labels for both my personal herb garden, and the one I’ve built at the botanical park where I volunteer. I often get more comments on my adorable labels than I do on how well my plants are thriving, these labels really do suit their purpose. I have noticed that after a while they do deteriorate a little, they get super dirty or absorb too much water and become brittle after they dry, the writing wears off after a while. I’m honestly not that worried given they were a pack of 60 for only a few dollars, I was more concerned with the style and functionality when I made the purchase, and compared to other cheap labels I’ve used in the past these definitely meet my expectations.

I love these bamboo plant labels. They seem strong, have very few blemishes, and give just the right size area for printing the name of the plant. The special pen works well with the bamboo. And the shape of the label looks like somebody put love into the design.

Item is great and as advertised!! :) Will buy again, when I need more signs!!Writing Space or Sign Space: You have in effect, 2 & 2/8ths inches X 1 & 2/8ths inches.The Portion that goes into the dirt is about 2.5 inches long.It's organic material, so it will break down more quickly, when used outdoors.If you want a more permanent sign, use a zinc, copper or a plastic tag, rather than this natural bamboo one.You can prolong it's natural bamboo life, by giving it a couple of coats, on each side, of "Ready Seal" Exterior Wood Stain (or something similar for outdoor use).To be re-applied every season, or couple of seasons or so.The included marker pens, though nice for paper use, do not withstand outdoor weathering.For outside garden tags, many people use China Pencils AKA. Grease Pencils found at art or office supply stores.Those are the pencils which have paper you peel off from around the tip to write with.Grease pencils also come in various colors.I'm using a Wood Burning Pen, to write with, for even more permanence.Wood Burning Pens range in price from about $11 for a basic kit, on up.These are beautiful, natural, little bamboo signs.Use 'em for labeling plants!Or wash & disinfect them, and use them to label food or a cheese spread at a house party... (do not "Ready Seal", if you'll be sticking them in food!)So nice!!

These look a lot nicer than the plastic things that come with the plants. Easy to write on & they are holding up well

The signs are big enough to read but not too big. For Ling term use I recommend painting name on instead of a Sharpie Pen. Fades over time

My wife likes these, but they are not holding up too well in the yard. They are too small to see and workers or deer tromp over them. For inside they are attractive and will hold up well.

Using in our raised vegetable beds. Made of bamboo, so should be waterproof.

Used these to mark my garden seedlings. The marker is waterproof (no running when wet). Good value.

Although somewhat brittle, these tags have proved a boon in my garden. I n ow know what most of the plants are before they flower and they are small enough to be wind and rain resistant but still easily seen. Thank you.

These are really great and I now have them all over the garden to remind me where I put those perennials. Good to have an eco product too rather than plastic. They look good and unobtrusive. And the pen works too! Recommended.
