I was a massive skeptic — now I own two and use them daily I truly did not want to spend $50 on this. I was very skeptical and honestly felt a little ridiculous even considering it. But I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), and most air fresheners, perfumes, sprays, and even expensive air purifiers do not work for me — many actually make things worse. I’m happy to say this was the rare exception. I started with the welcome box scents, and to my surprise they were barely noticeable — and I mean that in the best way possible. If I had to put a number on it, maybe 2% scent at most, and that’s being generous. What it actually smelled like was simply clean air. Not perfumed. Not masked. Just… clean. I recently moved into a brand-new apartment, and the “new carpet / formaldehyde / construction” smell was a real problem for me. After using this lamp, that smell is now completely gone. Not reduced. Gone. I now own two of these and will use them every single day. One is near my cat’s litter box. I keep the box fastidiously clean, but let’s be honest — no cat litter completely eliminates odor. This does. And it does it without overwhelming fragrance or triggering my sensitivities. This doesn’t cover up smells. It removes them. Even my very expensive air purifier didn’t touch what this lamp handled in minutes. If you’re skeptical, sensitive to smells, or tired of products that promise results and don’t deliver — this one actually does what it claims. I didn’t want to love it. I do. Worth every penny.

Love this thing. Makes my living room smell much better despite having 2 kittens. The scents included are great. Very well made, which is good as this is not for those in a budget. Ultimately you get what you pay for and that’s a great smelling house. Love the design too, very classy.

These scents are great! If you are new to this, please note that the purpose of this is to REMOVE bad smells. It is not like your normal diffusers. And you only “burn” it for 20-30 minutes after blowing out the flame

So neat and effective. These are def the 2 sample scents to start with, clean and fresh, it’s amazing. Yes it is pricey but it is worth it.

Beautiful bottle and the scents are great, not overly powerful. However if you forget to put the cap back on, after you light it for over 30 minutes, you’ll run out of the scent in 2 days. It took 2 to 3 weeks to come in the mail and the price is almost $60. Next bottle, I will do 30 minutes cap on and see how long the scent last in the air and the bottle.

I am surprised by how many 5 star reviews there are. I followed the instructions ( I only burnt the wick for 2 mins). Next day, all of the oil is gone. I’m shocked! I’m not one to usually complain about the price of things but anyone with good sense can tell you this isn’t worth it if the oil is completely gone after one day. I haven’t even tried to use it again, but I guess I will get one more day of use out the starter kit since I have a bottle left. I am hoping the wick will light. I see a lot of buyers complaining about that. On the plus side I do feel like it eliminated odors in the room for a few hours. I don’t have the patience to contact them to complain. I just won’t be buying again and I suggest that you don’t either, unless you’re a millionaire who is also a fool. Longevity: It a actually didn’t even last a full 24 hours

Lambert’s oil lamp works great, one scent is neutral as you don’t need much of a scent .

This 'starter kit' is a good way to introduce yourself to Berger lamps and their lovely scents. I bought this after my sister showed me how to use hers. Loved the Ocean Breeze scent. You really have to read the instructions before you begin to fire it up. Once you've filled the bottle with a little less than two thirds of the oil, leave for 20 mins to soak the wick. Then carefully light the top (the flame can become quite high). Leave burning for up to 2 mins. This heats the burner cap. Blow the flame out and place the slotted guard top on. After approx 30 mins of the oil scenting the air, take the guard top off and replace with the small metal cap, being careful of the hot burner. This cuts off the oxygen to the burner, allowing it to cool. Then place the slotted guard top back on, over the metal cap, ready for next time. The first time I used mine I missed a step and forgot to put the small metal cap over the burner to stop the flow of oxygen, and it just kept on using up the oil! I remembered in time, put the cap on, and was glad that I still had enough oil left.

No working after I have used it for 2 times

Although people may deny it....I can attest this device literally makes the air smell and feel fresher! It is just like taking a deep breath of fresh air after you have this device on! You feel as if you are breathing pure cool oxygen! Would not have believed this without seeing it for myself!
