It is very durable. I’d heard great things about it, and it lives up to the hype.

I bought this great 2 sided Boos Block with juice groove from seller Spreetail! I came in one week,Safely Packed For Shipping! This Boos block is excellent! You want to have the mineral oil ready to use as soon as you open the sealed plastic on the Boos Block. When a Boos Block is new it is important to oil it a lot. I oiled it and waited till it dries for about two days then I oil it again and wait another two days to dry. I repeat doing this for two weeks. Then I used Boos board cream wax once . Let dry overnight. I would say that it's more important to use mineral oil but if you can get the cream wax it is better to use both. Once in use you should oil your boos block twice a month to prevent the glue from drying out which can cause an edge grain block to start to split. I weighed this medium Boos Block at 6.5 pounds. The board is the perfect size for daily, quick prep tasks. I use it alongside a bigger board. I love the juice groove. A word of caution - the maple board came very, very dry. My first oil treatment was absorbed so fast! I can see that oiling will have to become a regular ritual to prevent cracking. It is my first Boos and I am enjoying it to the fullest.

Great cutting board and I am very happy it is manufactured in the USA by a US company with a long history of producing quality products.

Cutting board is great . Only thing it should have been sanded down a bit more. Per their instructions I let it sit for a few days to get it acclimated to my environment and then I oiled the board up and let that sit overnight.

I have had this cutting board for less than 3 months. It is cracking on the bottom and warping (curling up) on the sides. It was expensive and I am very disappointed in the quality. I wish that I could return it.

Excellent product. Like the duel use feature. One side cutting meat or other items. Vegetable, cheese items on reverse side. I have a Boos Block…it will last a lifetime

Cutting board split already after 3 months in more then one spot and it has been treated with cream and oil every time.Quality is not good at all i would expect at least a couple of years out of it before this would happen, very disappointing.

Only arrived today and I've just applied some Boos wax sealer so I'm looking forward to using it tomorrow. I can say though, that it looks beautifully made and deserves to be well maintained (as it will be). Any problems I'll be back to tell the world but I'm confident it'll last a very long time, especially if cared for.Ok, so I'm back and it's not good news. Unfortunately the block is now splitting after such a short time. I've spent £30 on Mystery Oil and Cream, using both regularly. The board is splitting and although I've contacted BoosBlocks I've had no reply. Such a shame as I'd been so happy with it and spent extra money to keep it conditioned.

This board has high reputation with Low quality . This is my first time buying this and I had scoured the net for review before making a choice but a wrong choice indeed. I had bough the small and big wooden boards. Within 1day of usage both boards showed signs of splitting. Now the smaller board has completely split.I had contacted Amazon for refund but their refund policy is only once they receive the boards. Problem is they do not have a call centre or customer service support that calls me in advance to inform me that they are coming. They did send their personnel once without informing about 3 weeks back but I had to send him away because no one was at home. That was the last Amazon send their guys over to collect back the item. The defective boards are still with me.Very poor service from Amazon and poor product quality from John boos

Multiple cracks. Have owned Boos cutting boards in the past and they’re perfect. This is a fake.
