These are great for cold and hot compress. When they are cold, they are still flexible and hold their temperature for a good 15-20 minutes. They lose heat faster than they do cold, but it’s easy to just throw them in the microwave to heat them back up. I use these often. Great price too!

Found the fantastic Velcro wrap for these gel packs before my second total total knee replacement (TKA). If you’ve ever heard of the pain associated with a TKA, ice—compression—and elevation are crucial for recovery. The Velcro wrap extremely easy to use, and accommodates 3 gel packs—two on top, and one underneath. These gel packs are durable, don’t leak, seem to harden faster in the freezer, and keep their coldness longer ( remember to wrap a towel on top for insulation.

I bought these so I could have one set in the freezer and another in use. I use these daily to ice down my knees. I’ve had the original set that came with the brace to strap it to my knee. The new set are not nearly as flexible when they freeze as the old set. The older set stays more gel like and the new set becomes more rigid, like ice. They stay cold for at least 30 minutes, so I am still happy with the product. The outside of the gel is a little bit thicker than the previous version.

Great to have an extra set of gel packs for my knee brace. Easy to switch out with warm ones to keep knee injury Iced.

These are great. They stay a bit flexible (easier to put on knees, etc) and are very strong! They last and last!

These packs keep cold for a long time. Initially I used an ice machine with a timer after I had a knee replacement. I used these with the wrap before surgery then after I finished with the ice machine. They mold well and remain very cold, which is what is needed, for a more than sufficient amount of time

A reviewer suggested buying these additional gel packs for the knee brace and it truly makes a lot of sense. You really need those extra packs if you're icing every thirty to 40 minutes.

Nice soft and effective gel pads.

My brace holds three of these snugly against my knee, giving me a good chill. When they wrinkle they feel somewhat poky but in the brace I don't notice it. Haven't tried microwaving yet. Kind of heavy, need to pull hard on the straps to keep the thing from sliding down, but better than picnic coolers in a loose towel.

Brilliant! Have used these for a knee replacement and I have four sets so always some available. Either in a specifically designed Velcro wrap or just wrapped in tea towels. Long lasting cold, well made and ice up really quickly Used mine several times a day for 7 months and still going strong Excellent quality and does the job very nicely

Purchased these spare gel ice packs for the Vive Compression Ice Wrap. They are made of good materials, flexible when frozen and fit perfectly into the sleeves of the wrap.

Just the perfect amoùnt of cold to ice my knee. A little bit thin. Runs out of cold quickly.
