Sourceone 5 Inch Large Size Treadmill Book Holder for Xx Thick Consoles

This is a very high quality item and sturdy material. I ended up returning it as it wasn’t too stable when I had it on the treadmill console (not the best secure fit) and my tablet was too unsteady. If you do consider this, be sure that you can see your console controls (some treadmills have the screen lower) as I was unable to see the speed, etc and I needed to lift the rack to see what my adjustments were (such as speed, etc). I was unable to manage that while also moving on treadmill.

I have an extra large console on my Proform treadmill. I wanted to read while I walk and this was the only product I found that looked large enough to fit. It fit perfectly. and the deeper bottom ledge holds the pages open. Added plus, it is clear and my husband who also walks on the treadmill can see his own controls through it. Absolute answer to my need!

The top hook does not fit over a Gold's Gym elliptical's console. (It is not deep enough by about 1/3-1/2 inch.) It is a rather thick console, but it rests nicely on top without moving. However, I was afraid it would shift and drop my kindle so I bought a dollar worth of elastic, sewed it in a circle and the whole thing stays put now! Also, the elastic provides traction so my kindle won't slip. The book holder has a very smooth surface. Easy to read the numbers on the console through the plastic, though, which is very nice!

This works perfectly for our Weslo Cadence 4.5 treadmill which has a wide top. It is made of quality material and holds a book or Kindle perfectly. Even though it extends over the front control panel of the treadmill, it is easy to reach under it to change the speed for use the stop button without dropping your book or reading device.I had previously purchased the SureShelf Treadmill Desk; but it protruded out too far to feel comfortable on our rather short treadmill and also due to the fact that my wife is only 4' 8" making it a difficult reach for her for the front console controls. It also did not seem as stable ad the Source One Book Holder. We really like this product.

Was broken in several places when I received it. Box it arrived in was not damaged so the product was shipped damaged.

To ensure my portable DVD player would not fall off and break, I needed to replace the one I recieved with a proper fitting unit. I didn't have a problem with paying to send the one back I had just recieved, as it was my fault. If you have a treadmill, elliptical, or other exercise device with a large/deep console, this holder is great for holding an iPad or book so you can watch/read while exercising. The lips are just the right size and the width of the part that hangs over the console makes it quite stable. For my iPad use, I added a bit of clear packaging tape from the top back edge of the holder to the back of the elliptical's console to keep the holder from moving even a fraction of an inch. I also put some clear plastic bumpers on the front of the elliptical's console to keep the weight of the holder/iPad from pushing the console's buttons underneath the holder.
