Trash can arrived damaged. I did a return which is not easy to deal with on a large item and the new one showed up even more damaged. Packaging is not sufficient for such a large item. Trash can is ok but not worth the high price.

the positive aspects of the can were that it had wheels (very handy) and was shorter than others and fit well in a small space. However, those positive attributes were greatly eclipsed by major flaws. 1. The worst problem was that the bags were supposed to be kept in place by a rectangular piece of plastic that was supposed to sit on the top of the bucket inside. It also had moveable pieces that were supposed to clamp the bag edge so that it would not fall down into the compartment. Neither one worked at all. First it was nearly impossible to put the bag edge in the "clamps". The edges of the frame that were supposed to hold the bag holder steady did not work and the frame and the bag were constantly falling into the bucket and spilling the contents into the bucket. the frame itself did not fit as the hinge for the bucket handle meant that the flimsy frame was bowed inward and could not support the bag. I spent way too much time and frustration replacing the bags, and way too much time pulling the trash bag back up and trying to put it back in the frame. The method of holding the bag up in the bucket was designed by st In any case, the entire design, from start to finish, was flawed and produced so much frustration that I would kick the can. 2. The batteries to run the touch opening of the doors were inside and just above the trash. The battery cover was constantly opening by itself and dumping the batteries into the trash. 3. Last but certainly not least the lids would randomly and constantly open and close, open and close. Enough to drive you crazy. Overall nothing about this product worked at all and I would suggest that if you are looking at buying, you would be better off keeping the trash bags on the floor and filling them when necessary, rather than spending money on this product.

Originally thought it only deserved 4 stars because one of the basket bag holders was missing. I contacted seller and they quickly replaced the holder. Thumbs up for seller response.

So at first I was mad because I thought I had received the trash can w/o the adapter but apparently you can also use batteries- I knew where to find the compartment but the top of the trash can was sooo tight I could not open it for a good 30 minutes using hands and feet lol! but I finally got it to loosen up and changed the batteries and it works like a dream. Just don't put the lid on too tight again. I thought it would be taller like a 32 gallon but it's half the size like a 16 gallon- but either way I like it because it has wheels and buckets to help get the trash out... it's good for recycling purposes as you can't stuff too much in it or else you would not be able to get it out so it works really well for me anyhow. I was never a big recycler but now that I have the utility I definitely will do my part to help the environment. I actually found it a little expensive for my taste but compared to bed bath and beyond prices!1 it wasn't too shameful. Either way I like the stainless steel and the modern rectangular look and sensors and the guy on the video reviews just was a spaz - he made me nervous just seeing him make such an issue of the bucket frames to hold the trash bags in place.. I actually think he was frenetic and it's not that big of a deal just change them slowly and methodically not in a frantic rush!

So, this came damaged, the shipping box was not even slightly damaged but the metal on the outside is very thin, so it will dent very easily. We decided to set it up and take a look at it anyway. The inner plastic “ring” that holds the trash bag inside is very flimsy and falls down inside the trash can very easily. This would become very annoying, very quickly. Additionally - just know that typical “kitchen trash bags” are way too big for this. I knew it was a little smaller than typical but didn’t realize that you really can’t use kitchen size trash bags with this. For $160 I definitely didn’t expect it to be this flimsy. The quality and design just isn’t there. We are returning.

I was ready to get onboard with the touchless bins. I used to have two 13 gallon plastic bins in my kitchen: 1 for trash and 1 for recycling. So when I saw this was 16 gallons I hadn't realized it meant 8 gallons each bin. The bins are smaller than my household is used to and it is near impossible to remove the full bag around the handle trim. This will not work well long term for my household. Perhaps someone living in a small apartment and doesn't have much trash or recycling. body came dented. WIll be ordering individual bins in future.

This is the dual 16gal trash can. It's just what I needed to seperate kitchen trash and recyclables. It works well, love the castor wheels and the kids open and close well. The main issue is that I received the can with bad folds, not damage to the box and it was well packed, so I was sent something with a manufacturing error, they never should have sent this item which means the quality control is non existent. It's such a hassle to pack it up and send it back, especially with a large bulky item. The other issue is that the compartments are small, but I knew this when I purchased it and if the quality was good it would have not been much of an issue. For over $160, you would think they would control the quality and not just package a defective product. See photos of creases on the corners and bends.

My only problem is it’s not big enough. Basically it’s only for one person there’s three of us and it’s like I’m changing it every day but other than that I love it.

Received my garbage can two dents and it didn't work and no AC adapter that was advertised included. They replaced it right away came again with a dent and no AC adapter again, but it works nicely with batteries
