This has the option to be auto or manual activation. Great pump, I use it with the auto mode which the built in float switch turns it on.

Won’t turn off. Battery killer!!!
Won’t tun off about 25% of the time. I worked it many many times. I lubed it and still won’t turn off. I waited a bit too long for return!!! Darn it. Unreliable
