desertcart.com 26 cuts of "gangsta rap" that only increase in doom when you realize the guy talking it didn't live to laugh about it. Perhaps he now knows the answer to his question, "I Wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto," which shows up here twice. Shakur, like most hard rappers, liked to sound tough, kicking it with song titles unprintable in a family newspaper. But, underneath the braggadocio, there was fear. "Only Fear of Death," "Nothing to Lose," and "I'm Losin' It" tell a far different story than "Fake Ass Bitches." His artistry could never, however, catch up to the sad fate of his life. --Rob O'Connor Review: this album is top 5 hip hop material - First disc has great rhythm and beats. Strong lyrics, and seems like 2pac is on top of his game. Depending on your sound system, this might be the best of his 10+ albums he produced, As far as the instrumentals and bass response. The second disc is a little more angry, a little more robust. The second disc is arguably the better of the two discs. I remember when this album was first released in 1997, their was the theory out there that 2pac was still alive and recording music. A year after his 96' shooting in Las Vegas. This album stokes that legacy and coupled with Better Days and a few other releases we see that prophetic vision. It truly makes the listener wonder how he came up with the lyrics and why? Review: Tupac Cd - I love this cd! Tupac was a terrific creator of poetry in his songs! Yes i would purchase it again.

I loved this album
I loved this album , just like I love all his music he's the greatest rapper in the history of the rap game. Another reason is he speaks his mind like talking about crooked cops ,you everybody wants to be mad at black lives matter group ,but they haven't hurt anyone and people talking about the five cops that got it ,what about the black guys they killed like dawgs and the black cops I hate them monkeys

r u still down 2pac review
when it came in the mail, the booklet had indents. amazon sent me a new copy, that booket had indents too? i dont know if thats significant, but y'all should know i guess, and i've never had a cd come new with booklet indents before, let alone twice for the same album. as an album, its alright. i picked it up cuz it's mostly original versions of songs, non-remixed, but i feel like the tracks they picked coulda been better, it's kinda one-beat at times and doesn't touch all aspects of shakur's character. it is nice to have all this unreleased content to chew on though, and it really is just a compilation of pre-deathrow era stuff and shouldn't AT ALL be seen as a real 2pac album. i do really suggest picking "still i rise" or "until the end of time" first if you wanna get into his posthumous stuff, unless you ADORE the S4MN to Me Against the World era Shakur. One bonus of picking up this compared to deathrow era content is that you get more pac for ya dollar since theres not many features and he sounds significantly more sane/coherent/lessonedge compared to after he was shot, arrested, then bailed out. if you wanna get into shakur's music in general, pick out the albums from when he was alive. my favourites are "killuminati: the 7 day theory" published under the alias "makaveli the don", and me against the world. (i prefer me against the world as that was my first ever hiphop album)

Legends Never Die
One of his albums that is often ignored. He delivers the genius in him on this album together with the thug life brothers. for all the Tupac fans, this is one you will definitely be jamming to during your work outs or daily endeavors
