SL-300A Digital Professional Facial Steamer with Ozone

Got in April and it broke down twice and now won’t even turn on.

Totally and completely amazing! The water pot is small, but the steamer is efficient so one pot could last an entire 1 hour facial if left on lowest level 1, I think. The base is smaller than the other clunker I had, so I have to be careful with my mag light attached, it is top heavy. Super easy to fill, adjust, move and control and it's QUIET! No more tick.tick.tick.tick.tick, like my clients are on the clock! Completely worth $299. It takes about 10 minutes to heat up. Really easy to put together (directions are slightly different from the actual... they have a new easier base plate, just look at it, you can figure it out). This is my new workhorse!

I use this machine daily with no problems. The steam blows strong and steadily and I usually only have to turn it up to level 2 with most clients. My only complaint would be that my herbal basket cracked within a couple of months of my purchase. Other that that it works great! Digital so no ticking sound, quiet when running & seems very well made. If it weren't for the herbal basket breaking I would have given it 5 stars.

Looks nice, works good with the following exceptions...Top heavy...Base plastic and should have been heavier, perhaps a metal.The 'arm' falls...doesn't stay the height I try to lift it to.

It looks solid but only worked for 1.5 years and stopped working suddenly. We changed fuse and starter to no avail and get no further technical help. It is out of warranty. For such an expensive machine, we expect it to last longer.

This machine didn’t last longer than a month without problems. The aromatherapy feature does not work, the water always looks dingy in unit (it uses tap water, yuck) and front panel buttons cracked and fell off. I do not recommend.

This is an excellent product. The only problem I have with it is that after using the essential oil compartment on the "spray nozzle", it cracked. Warning if you purchase this product, be very careful about which type of essential oil to use on the spray nozzle compartment since the oil reacts badly with the plastic. I did use the herbal basket as an alternative and that worked out much better. I've emailed the on-line customer service department asking for a replacement "spray nozzle"...I hope they respond.UPDATE REVIEW ON 10/1/14: I was able to talk with Christian from the customer service department of Sundaes Novelty, Inc and what an amazing way to keep their customer satisfied with the product. I needed a replacement spray nozzle and he was quick to assist me with getting one. I love the Digital Facial Steamer F-300A and so do my customers. It's well worth the investment of this product. If you really want to keep your customers coming back to your spa and experience luxury then, the Digital Facial Steamer F-300 is a must buy. Christian provided some very helpful tips with the essential oil compartment. Use only one small drop of essential oil and try not to let it touch the sides of the compartment. I had previously marked the review with 4 stars, now I've made it 5 stars. Thank you for all your help and the tip Christian!

I really like this because it feels quality. What I don't like about this is that I thought it was going to silent when pressing the buttons...if you press and hold any of the buttons it will only beep once. If you keep pressing the buttons it will beep for every time you press it. It does not beep when it runs out of water nor when the timer goes off, so that's nice..... As far as the output there is only 5 settings for the steam. With my old one I had 10 and it started off really soft and gentle to 10 being the max.i would always keep it at around a 5 or 6. That being said, on this machine the 5 will blow you away, so I always keep it at a 1 for my clients and I still feel like it's a bit much??!!!!! Overall I like it because it does feel like good quality.
