These are not A4 overall sized...
As a new collector of in circulation British coins, specifically 50p and £2 coins, I have been looking for some way of displaying them that won't cost me a fortune and will keep the coins safe. I thought I had found the solution in a lever arch folder and separate coin holder inserts, especially as I could add inserts to the folder as my collection grows. Both arrived today and individually they are fab, the coin holder inserts seem to be made of strong plastic, with an envelope type opening so as to secure the coin in place... however a 50p coin does not fit into this sized pocket, I have not tried a £2 coin as it seems pointless. They are also a most A5 in overall size, so an A4 lever arch folder is slight overkill.NOW this is most likely my fault in not reading the measurements that are clearly given in the description and state this sized insert is for small coins but I consider neither to be a large coin when you compare them to other collectable currencies or indeed some pre-decimal UK coins.I will be returning them, simply as they are not as expected and of no use to me, however I feel that given the quality of the coin insert for smaller coin collectors these would be fab.As a suggestion it might be helpful, for collectors like myself who are just starting out, to give actual coin sizes that will fit into the pockets... just a thought.
