Quiet semi auto that is really cool
I bought this for four reasons. 1) I had recently acquired the Hatsan Galatian Tact Auto. Both are semi auto PCP air guns and use the same magazine. 2) I wanted an air pistol that shot as high velocities as some of the older air rifles. 3) I wanted something that I could grab in a hurry to take out some venomous snakes in my area and it will. 4) it isn’t very loud, a 1/4 or less than a 22 rim fire.It is semi auto and it is pretty cool not having to reload every shot(12 round magazine with about 3 magazines or so before running out of optimum air. It’s a 22 caliber that has velocities as some older .177 air rifles. The pistol was accurate right out of the box. It is a five star performer but with -1/2 star for weight. You can hold on to it with one hand but will get fatigued for a long period of shooting. It does have a secondary handle/a place to put your left hand to support the pistol. You don’t get as many shots to air capacity ratio as you would with a PCP rifle but it is semi auto. There is a newer version that has a folding butt stock but I felt that it would get in the way and it is more expensive. I thought that it would be an upgrade later but the model I have does not have the capability and I am still ok with that. It is not a toy for Jr.. I am very happy with it and would recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to a regular fire arm. It is a little big but not too big. Packs a punch for something in a pistol format. It reminds me of something you would see in a sci-fi movie. Now the price is almost $50 cheaper. Should have waited a week. That sucks

Brand new gun won't hold pressure, poor quality machinging
I read reviews on this before I purchased. I should have listened. Leaks right of the box. Hatsan sent me a repair kit with no instructions. I had to become an airgun specialist over night. I have found the gun has poor quality machining and a lot of metal burrs all over that will make seals leak. The guage block shifted when the gun got to 2000psi. Darn near froze my hand off. Very dangerous. Don't let the cool looks fool you, this is a piece of crap with little to no factory support.

Buyer beware!
Seems to function fine. Beware of safety! If loose which mine arrive loose it would function as a trigger unless tightened down. This requires taking off the plastic and locating the loose screw. Only have had it filled up for a couple hours no leaks yet will update if that changes.

I love it.
The mags are sent too tight, but once you adjust the center screw so the mag moves freely, I went through 60 shots as smooth as can be. This hits hard and fast and I like the constant accuracy. It came with nice sights but I'm too old for open sights, so I put a red dot/laser on it and it's a tack driver.

Pistol? LOL UPDATE(9-21-24) It leaks bad!
Well, The "Leaking", reviews are right. It leaks worse than a CO2 gun. It's also now jammed and I'm not sure how to clear it. I'm not even sure if I want to clear it. It Leaks...This thing is a Carbine bar none! That being said, I've run a few mags through it and it has functioned properly. I hate the stock. Will eventually upgrade to an AR15 folding stock. (almost the price of the gun all over again) It needs larger mags badly. I did a lot of research before I picked this up so I knew about its shortfalls. So far so good!

Absolutely love it.
I started not to buy this pcp pistol because of the reviews. However I own Hatsan air rifles and loved them so I pulled the trigger and bought it. I'm not sure why others had so many problems. Mine worked flawlessly and never jamed after 300 rounds. It cycled perfectly. Also airing it up was easy. No leaks and held air over 4 days sitting. Maybe I'm just lucky. Either way, I love it.

No regrets getting this. Great way to have good honest fun!
Absolute tack driver with Pinty red dot as optic on it. The only negative thing about the gun is that it needs a larger air tank. It eats 200 bar in three mags on my .25 Other than that, it shoulders nicely with the included folding stock. Firing this gun without the stock attached isn't an option for me. It provides tremendous stability and guarantees accuracy. The semi auto feature is awesome. Invest in a lot of pellets because you will be sending three mags worth down range in a hurry. For me, the gun had a short break in period. The first six mags had some cycling issues where the action of the gun did not function properly. I had to manipulate the charging handle to assist. This however has since worked itself out and the gun functions flawlessly.
