I only like bright lights in my kitchen and bathrooms. I prefer soft white, 40W bulbs in my living room where I like to relax, listen to music or watch my favorite TV shows. This product works wonderfully for me.

I got the soft white 2700 because the photos show it as a dim orange. They are super bright.

I just moved into a new place and I'm replacing a bunch of the light bulbs. This is the 3rd pack of light bulbs that I've bought from this company in the last few weeks. They are regular energy efficient light bulbs at a good price. They work well and the light specs are spot on. I bought both a 3000K & 2700K in the 40 watt. I was not expecting much of a difference, but I was wrong. The 3000K warm white are much brighter with more of a white tone. These 2700K are a warmer, homier yellow light, which is exactly what I was looking for. I used these in the chandelier over my kitchen table. They give off just the right amount of light. The ones that were previously in there were like spotlights. You'd go blind every time you turned on the fixture. It was brutal. LOL!! Overall these are good bulbs at a good price.

These are exactly what I needed to have soft ambient lighting around the house. Why are these impossible to find in your favorite home improvement store??? The cost and quality is just right.

I had to return, one was damaged but they didn't fit too well in my light socket for where I needed it. But it is a nice bulb

My decision to use these was based on one requirement: not losing the incandescent ambience and ending up with the objectionable LED scorched look. The lamp on the right has an LED with a color temperature of 2700K and is rated as 40W equivalent, while the lamp on the left has a frosted 40W incandescent bulb. The photo is an unretouched cell phone photo, and the symmetry of the setting makes for an ideal comparison. The LED is slightly whiter and washes the wall with more light; although there is an up-light behind the nearby plant contributing to overall illumination. The top surface of the nightstand is is more illuminated, and the ironwork in the headboard is somewhat visible. Also, the pattern in the bedspread has greater definition on the LED side, but you have to look closely to see any of this. I am happy to say the ambience of the space has not been lost!

I put two of them but they are not bright, but hope theses are for privacy not like the true bright when i am completely exposed and no privacy at all with the other ones.
