Starring: BOBBY DEOL, KARISMA KAPOOR, SHAKTI KAPOOR, JOHNY LEVER Synopsis: HUM TO MOHABBAT KAREGA is a light fun filled love story. It's about a TV anchor Geeta Kapoor (Karishma Kapoor) who is investigating a murder, and a waiter Raju (Bobby Deol) besotted by her charms, who claims to be the eye witness to the murder. The roller coaster ride begins, when Raju constantly lies about the murder and entangles himself in a web. Now the mafia wants to silence him, while the police and the media want him too. This typical Kundan Shah style movie creates laughter provoking situations and will be one to watch out for. Kundan Shah who has made semi-commercial movies like JAANE BHI DO YAARON and KABHI HAAN KABHI NAA turns completely commercial with his next venture "HUM TO MOHABBAT KAREGA. Review: pretty painful - There's one dance number in here that looks like it was choreographed by Salvador Dali on a $10 budget... and I can watch it over and over... but the rest of the movie is terrible. Maybe it's poor subtitling, but the jokes are thin and the plot is dull. I have a huge affinity for Bollywood and I admit my standards are pretty forgiving, but this one is really weak. It's such a shame because that one dance scene is so awesome.
