Samsonite Tectonic 2 Large Backpack, Black/Orange, 18 x 13.3 x 8.6

This is a good backpack. I use it for work (manufacturing facility) and the gym and the size is perfect. It will fit in a locker at work and at the gym. The zippers are well-built and can take a lot of stress. I usually carry 2 water bottles in the smaller front pouch and the bag has held up well even with that much weight and volume in the bag. I've bought other backpacks on Amazon, but they were more cheaply made and the zippers broke with everyday use. I've had this one over a year now and everything is still completely intact. The small pocket at the top is good for carrying your keys, sunglasses, wallet, etc and my work laptop has never been damaged using the back pocket. Backpacks are performance items, so for this type of item you get what you pay for.

Nothing is perfect. Therefore only 4 stars. That said, this backpack serves its purpose well. Plenty of room for what you need and fits under a Frontier airliner seat. I would recommend to anyone

I had used another manufacturer and liked all the room I had in it. But the zipper broke after a year. So I bought this on as it was a Samsonite. It has nice size, good pocket variation, and seems to be sturdy. I haven't used it for travel yet, so I will be curious as to how I like it for travel. I don't expect an issue, but never know until you need to use it.

This is my second one. Why did I buy a new one? Because taking the last one all over the world over about 8-9 years made it pretty dirty. This time I got black. I may never need another backpack ever again. With my old one, the stitching was the only thing that showed wear. The zippers were still fantastic. I really have no complaints. It’s well worth the money.

I've had one of these for years. Use it every single day. Jam laptops, food, clothes, papers, and all kinds of misc crap into it. Never balks. The only reason I bought a new one is 2 of the zippers finally bought the farm. I'm very rough with my pack and I frequently pick it up and drag it around by the zippers (bad habit) so I don't even consider it a flaw in the pack. Except for the padding showing some rubbing wear after many years, the pack is flawless. I use the old one to carry extra sets of towels for vet trips. Very happy with this purchase and well worth the money. A+!!

I am a college student studying to be a Computer Network Support specialist, and believe that having a great dependable bag to hold my laptop for classes and future internship of basic computer responsibilities and troubleshooting and diagnosing computer networks on the go, I would definitely choose this bag even though it cost me almost $90. But how I see it is, if the item helps you greatly price matters not.I have been waiting to post a review about the Samsonite Tectonic second generation backpack for a little while, but I had to field test this first and help customers looking for a large backpack to find what they need with all honesty.
