WowWee Robotic Enhanced Vehicles (R.E.V)

My eldest son had these cars a few years back, absolutely loved them, no complaints whatsoever. Now that my youngest son is older he wanted them for himself. So I ordered it for this birthday gift. Took them out the box, which had no signs of damage. The wheels on both cars do not work, they seem to be locked up. The cars will not drive forward or backward at all. Only one rear tire on each car will spin occasionally, and then all the car will do is go in a tight circle. I am completely disappointed. What are the odds of both cars malfunctioning straight out of the package?? It does not appear to be an issue with the app or controls. I tried it first on a tablet, and then on my phone, to be sure it wasn't a device issue. The cars themselves power up, but just won't drive. My son was heartbroken after so many years of wanting them. What a terrible birthday gift.

Don't buy, Disappointed but I fixed them. The item is well built except for one weak gear. if anyone is stucked with this item you can replace the gear or have it repaired if you got someone skilled with soldering iron. loved the cars too much to return for a other bad stock and I'm out of the country. so I fixed them myself. the gear on the motor is broken on all the motorized wheels. replace with another 9T gear with a 2mm bore will work. or plastic weld the broken like I did.Wish the seller would have fixed before selling returned stocks. Reached out to them and they claim it is out of stock, but is still listed as available. Dishonest. Don't buy.

Bought for my 30 yo special needs son who says he likes it. Have played just once, so far,but kinda kool, tho I, myself have issues remembering how to control the cars ...drones, gaming system games ...etc! (Pretty sure my son is stealing my memory!!! 🤪😰😱)Tho I try to thoroughly read descriptions, I apparently missed the size of these cars & was quite surprised upon arrival!I do wish there was a track for them as our home is mostly carpeted, creating challenges with human hair & cat fur wrapping around car axles! Not to mention, a likely lack of traction on carpet, so play area is VERY limited!

These would have been so fun if either car would have worked. 1 out of the 4 wheels rotated correctly. The cars will only go in circles when one of the wheels is working... one car won't move at all. App seems to be working fine. So disappointed on Christmas morning... hoping they will send a replacement soon that WORKS!

Honestly I was skeptical about these but for the price I figured it was worth a shot. Thankfully, both the AI single player and 2 player options worked great and I had no problems linking them to Galaxy S3 phones. They respond well to input, are easy to link and drive, and so far plenty of fun for my boys. The only con in my opinion is getting use to touchscreen controls instead of the usual sticks on a transmitter.

Once app is installed and paired with cars, it is easy and fun to play. Love that it can race virtual car if there is not a friend to race against! Also love that you do not need a separate controller to keep charged and carry - just use phone or ipad! Early Christmas present for my 9 year old nephew - I am the favorite aunt for sure! When wi-fi is available can use with ipad or other device. We installed the app on both ipads and phones. The install obviously required password for the appstore and was a little quirky to get working ( I think we had to restart phones?) but once that was done the kids had contiuous fun. My high school son now wants this also!

We bought one set for Christmas, one car had a stuck wheel. No big deal, I bought a second pack, the same car in the new pack we bought, had the same problem. The stuck wheel in the same wheel in the same car. Will be returning both cars sets And buying from some else.

These cars are SO COOL! I bought them for my 12 yr old daughter who is really hard to buy for. We have wood floors with several thick rugs and these cars did just fine on these surfaces. The controls are a little difficult to navigate at first, but my daughter had no problem figuring it out. She loves the 1 player mode where she plays a computer. You steer one car, and the computer will follow you and try to shoot you. It made it the whole stretch of our downstairs. I was amazed!We definitely recommend Rev cars, and foresee ourselves having many hours of fun with them.

These are a great, fun little toy.After receiving (and running to the shop to buy batteries!) we got these powered up and had a charge around the house.The cars are quite fast and are easy to set up and pair with the App. The app itself has some good options, including being able to change style of controls and sensitivity.Pros:- Fast, responsive cars- Good Price- Good App with good features.Cons:- Doesn't contain rechargeable batteries and BURNS through AA's.- firing the weapons is awkward - one thumb controls forward/back whilst the other controls left/right. Need a third thumb to fire or switch to single stick driving which is less responsive.- You need quite a bit of space as they do move around quite quickly

Santa bought these for my kids for Christmas and I'm very impressed. They're fast, robust, look great with the lights off and easy to setup. Couple of downsides - they're much harder to control than a normal remote control car due to the turning circle, however this doesn't detract from the fun and is an advantage in small rooms. More serious is that the app is prone to crash on startup. Hopefully wowwee will fix.

I bought these for my son for Christmas in the same way Homer bought Marge a bowling ball that timeThey are fast and the technology is unbelievable, they way the AI can chase they car your controlling is crazy.A great buy for any kid/adult-kid

These cars are great fun for one player or two and the setup was quite simple. However, we did find that the app required to run the cars, was only compatible with 2 out of 5 devices we owned. It is worth checking the compatibly on the app store, before you buy the cars.

Great cars. My son loves them. Very robust and fast. Better than any other remote control cars we've got in the past.
