I bought this dress in the longer version in red and purple and fell in love with the longer one...the longer version is still my favorite. I had wanted to get the green dress so I searched through their dresses and got a green and turquoise. I am very pleased with the dresses but they are a little delicate. Hand wash only and drip dry. The tie on the green dress pulled out of the seam a little when I bent to pick something up. And I was caught in the rain and noticed later that my little light weight sweater has a couple of faint green spots where the green dye bled through. So, I still love these dresses and they look AMAZING on but I also know they're delicate. No need to wear a slip as the fabric is a nice weight that makes it hang well and swish but isn't at all see-through and no need for a bra with this dress as it lifts all on its own which makes it a perfect choice (especially at this length) in the summer. I don't recommend this dress for very busty gals. A D cup would be the largest I would go in this dress. All the colors I have are gorgeous. The green is especially eye-catching. Despite the care needed for this dress I would buy it again. And I may!

I was waiting for this dress to come so badly.I usually wear anxl in dresses as I am 5/10inches tall and average weight but I ambusty and broad across the back so I thought I'd better order thebiggest size offered thinking it would just float on me and that wouldbe just fine since I figured it's a summer dress and don't want anythingtight fitting anyway.Well I was so excited to come home frome workand find it waiting for me. I ripped open the package in excitementand put it on and boy the excitement left in a hurry. This dress wasTIGHT all through the bust and even the waist!! I am so unhappy becauseit's such a beautiful dress but now I'm wondering if it was tagged thewrong size. It's a true xl not the bigger one. Unfortuneatly I will besending it back and re-ordering it in the same size in hopes that theone they send the second time will be the right size. I read the reviewsbefore I ordered it and many people said that it fit great even for thebig girls. Well not me :( I guess I have to pay to send it back and thatmakes me even more unhappy. Maybe I will call customer service to see howand if they can help me with this. In the meantime, I can't wear my beautifuldress. Will keep you updated on how this turns out.

This is, as other reviewers have said, a beautiful dress that fits great. I bought the green color and it's a lovely shade and really quite eye-catching. The only two problems I had were: 1) when it arrived a small part of the decoration on the front had come loose. It was a quick and easy fix with a needle and thread. I've had no problems with other parts unravelling since, but something to note. 2) Take care when washing! This is partially (probably mostly) my fault though. I washed it 2 or 3 times alone or with darks and had no problems but the 4th time, my husband added a pair of white and green plaid shorts to the load with this dress at the last minute. I didn't think anything of it since the dress had already been washed several times and didn't seem to bleed at all or if it did, I figured it had bled all it was going to. Well, I was wrong! The dress ended up bleeding on to the shorts which are now a green plaid with a light green background. It didn't completely ruin them, and he says he'll still wearable, but they're not what they used to be. So take extra care if you get the green or other bright colors!

I'm 5'3 and a size 18 with a 40C bust. 1X fits perfectly (I think its 1X/2X for these). Until I lose a few I can feel pretty in these dresses. I've received many compliments and find these to be quite flattering. I will say that as a large chested woman I wear a scarf in mixed company, but perhaps I'm just modest. There are some beautiful lightweight scarves available to compliment these dresses. If you're bigger than a 40C, or based on a fellow reviewer bigger than a 36D (we both just make it) you may want to go up a size.I purchased only the longer ones last year, but now I have mid length as well. Both lengths are very pretty. I've purchased every color except gold (so far) in one length or another. I love them all. Highly recommended ladies. Wash gently or the embroidery will come loose. Great warm weather date night clothes, but casual enough to throw over a swimsuit if you want to get a cocktail at the beach boardwalk. You'll be one of the most nicely dressed ladies at the beach. I'll stress again however, when you come home wash the dress gently. One of mine was accidentally mixed with the regular cold wash and some pieces came loose. I don't hold it against the manufacturerhough. I should have washed it separately. I'll check back in a few days in case you have questions. Just post them in the comments section.5/15 Update: It's the time of year when I begin wearing these dresses all the time again. I still get compliments on them all the time. I did buy the gold dress. I wear a turquoise/yellow gold scarf with it (ASIN: B004EK2NUW) from SCARF_TRADINGINC. that I also bought here on Amazon. I noticed from the pictures that there is a pattern on the back of the dress where it used to be plain. I may just have to buy the new color (Copper) just to see what's going on there. Did they improve on the dresses after I bought like twenty of them? Thanks Sakkas. I've bought so much of your stuff (dresses, blouses, accessories, skirts...) that I think you should send me the Copper dress with your compliments! Since I'm not holding my breath on the gift from Sakkas, if anyone bought one of these dresses like 18 months ago, and another recently let me know if the back has changed please. They seem even prettier now.
