22 oz wide mouth jars with lids
These are very nice 22 oz tall jars with lids. Bonus lids - holes drilled and lined with a little silicone/like gasket for a straw. I was surprised by the straw lids - not sure if I'll use them, but I've got them and many other wide mouth jars - so we'll see. The 22 oz jars are tall and narrower than the regular jars you get and for me, that's a good match in my fridge and cupboards. I put stuff I want to stay fresh longer in these types of jars and screw the lids on tight. Works well. Dishwasher safe and resuable. An excellent choice to plastic stuff or one use plastic bags in my opinion. They arrived very well packed and in good condition along with other things I had ordered. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. As a top 30 reviewer, I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,200 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including well over 28,000 likes. BOTTOM LINE: I pay for all my stuff, just like you do - with hard earned dollars.

Very nice size taller jar/drinking glass size
Great quality jars. Come packaged very well. There were complaints on some of the previous reviews that the lids did not tighten correctly. I'm going to guess that must have been fixed because these lids do fit snug. Both types of lids do fit snug. I got this specific size jar to use as drinking glasses so if that's what you're looking for, these are really close to the normal size of a drinking glass.

FALSE DISCRIPTION OF THE JARS NOT AS DESCRIBED
I got these jars because I wanted the size, basically wide mouth pint and half. These clearly state that they are 22oz wide mouth jars, both of which are a lie, as these are neither 22oz or Wide Mouth.(more on that later) Other reviews mentioned that there were some “issues” with the lids not working properly. I knew this when I bought them but figured since my plans for the jars were for freezing sauce in the freezer and not for canning I could work with that. What I didn’t know was, that they were NOT 22 oz jars but 20oz to the very top, which means that there was absolutely NO WAY I could get 22 oz of anything in those jars period. In addition to that, for anyone who knows anything about canning or freezing you have to leave a 1” head space to account for expansion. Well when I measured to the 1” line on the jar it measures at 18 oz. So basically instead of 22 oz jars these jars are 18oz at best. Now to the lids. While I did read from other reviews that the lids were a bit “off” I didn’t realize by how much. While the flats are true to wide mouth flats (because they fit on my standard wide mouth jars) the rings are not. Not only do they NOT properly screw onto the jars, as they just keep spinning around and around, the rings also do not fit on my standard KERR wide mouth jars either. These rings appear to be some wonky made up whatever size. The jars themselves “look fine” and I guess if I was willing to fiddle around with them by using tin foil to make a lid just for the freezer, I need a larger volume than 18 oz. If you have a true 22 oz jar it’s 20 oz to the 1” headspace line, but with these I’m only getting 18 oz. to the 1” headspace line, and that’s not enough for me. These jars are pure false advertising and Amazon NEEDS TO REMOVE THEM or at the very least Change the description. These are going back.

Attractive, easy to fill, good lids which seal just fine.
I ordered this set of jars to make refrigerator pickles. I made 2 types, used all the jars. They were easy to pack with the veggies and spices, and easy to pour in the boiling vinegar/water brine. I used a canning funnel anyway to prevent splashing, but if you don't have one, it's not an issue. I filled the jars within 1/2 inch from the top as usual. It worked out well. I have not yet used them in a water bath canning method, so can't comment on that. The lids are a decent weight, no thinner or thicker than any other canning lids I've used. The jars themselves are a nice weight as well. Any glass item can break due to thermal shock, or even careless handling, so just be conscious of that when using anything made of glass.

Nice but not perfect
3+ jars arrived with dented lids (in picture I'm pointing to the most obvious ones, found a couple additional ones while unpacking). These jars were packed in what looked like a sufficient amount of foam, so I'm not sure how to account for the dents. As others have said, the lids don't quite fit a standard ball jar. It is rather infuriating because it looks like they might fit at first glance, but then it doesn't tighten all the way, these ones are slightly smaller. But, the jars themselves look nice and functional so far. I do like that they are taller than the standard ball jar.

Exactly the size I wanted

These canning jars look very elegant. Their build quality is decent considering that they don't cost as much as the other brands. That being said, be sure to closely inspect each jar! 4 out of the 12 jars in my batch have defects. Of those 4 defective jars, 2 of them have misaligned bottom rings from the glass molding process, 1 has a chipped lip and a misaligned bottom ring, and 1 has two chips along the glass threads. Since I only intend to use these jars as DIY pendant lights, these defects don't bother me too much. However, if I were using these for traditional canning (submersing in boiling water), then I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting those 4 defective jars.

I like the size and that they will fit into cup holders. And they feel heavy enough weighted glass. As I intended to use them for drinking glasses. But 4 out of the 6 were chipped as you can see. Not something I could oversee. As I almost cut my hand unpacking them. That being said. I can’t imagine how this even happened. Because the box and the packaging they came in seamed decent enough. Makes me think they were sent out already defective. Anyway, I’ll be contacting the seller for replacement. As soon as the system updates and recognizes my item has been delivered and not just “out for delivery”

These are nice but standard wide mouth mason jar lids don't fit in the so you have to use the lids that come with them. The lids feel cheap, I wouldn't can with them.

Used for canning and the lids are garbage not fitting 😡
