Ease of mind protection without feeling it's even installed. Installed under my hood, which is insanely full with a 6.2 liter naturally aspirated 518HP monster of a V8 in my 2010 Mercedes E63 AMG. Will buy more for others and recommend for anyone!

Excellent I used this in my 1-Ton Dodge Ram Diesel Dually to provide protection against all kinds of EMP, SUN or man made EMP's! It is a small $$ for the protection it provides! I use them on my Generator too!

Easy to install but cannot report effective until after an emp

Great product I love knowing our truck is protected. Are last last truck got stuck by lightning and totaled are old truck. We have a new truck we installed this product very happy to know we are protected.

I was thinking this would be a good thing, but after I showed my wife who said that it would make my vehicle a target form the public or anyone in the government should an extreme event (Solar flares or worse).I just hope I never need it.

Took me 15 minutes to install on my Toyota SR5 4/WD. Sleek and well thought out design. Directions are perfect. Very very simple installation. IF possible, I will write a complete review after (if and when) we have a Nuclear EMP or the unit fails before that time. So far the unit buys a piece of mind on being prepared. One never knows this day in age. A person can drive a lot further than they can walk! So far no battery issues after several days of sitting.

After two hours of trying to FIND a spot for this on an 07 Acura MDX, I had the mechanic take a crack at it (the engine compartment is riddled with few flat surfaces and tons of crossbars). The mechanic was able to find a place for it...within the driver side corner panel next to the battery. As you can see in the pic, an indention had to be made for the protruding light bulb. For those wondering, yes I considered the fire wall, wheel wells and side walls, all to no avail. A local non dealer mechanic charged me $140.00 for the installation (the unit itself is quite large).
