Very affordable and easy fix on '07 Chevy Uplander
Absolute great value for the money spent! My check engine light had been on for a few months now, but all of my sensor lights tend to come on at times. According to my mechanic, that's the corrosive nature of living on the coast. Anyhow, I did notice idling issues and I'd have to press on the gas pedal to get the van started after refuelling. I was also getting a code P0496 on the '07 Chevy Uplander. I was able to replace the part fairly easily within about 30-45 min. It would've been faster if my dad and I had known how to pop off the engine cover before searching how to on YouTube. It took 3-4 days and driving around town a little before the check engine light went off. That's the best feeling, not seeing that light glaring at me every day and knowing that it cost so little and was any easy fix that my dad and I could do.

How smooth it makes you engine run
While I was replacing another part I noticed that this part was cracked so I replaced it and wow what a difference in the smooth idle in the engine and my gas milage has improved.

Always buy OEM. Solved my P0442 code.
My Lucerne was throwing a P0442 code, which is Small EVAP Leak Detected. This code can be very vague so I tried the gas cap first to no avail. Next I tested this part. In my experience there's two things you should know about EVAP Purge Solenoids. 1) When the car is off these should be normally closed. 2) Aftermarket ones seem to not last long or be built well. In my case all 2 things were present. The one there, after doing research, was a Advanced Auto part. And a little good test for anyone to do is to remove the solenoid and try to blow into one of the ports. You should not be able to blow any air thru. Mine did allow some air to go by so the seal was bad, hence the Small EVAP Leak code.Bought this, checked to see if it was sealed (it was), replaced the non-OEM one and erased the code. It has been a few months now and the code never came back and the EVAP monitor was finally able to complete its tests. Do yourself a favor, buy OEM and don't try aftermarket on EVAP stuff. They last longer and are built way better. It'll save you from some headaches.

Excelentes refacciones
La compra un exito, el unico inconveniente es el tiempo de espera y es entendible por venir de otro pais. agradezco el vendedor por tomar menos tiempo de lo indicado para esta refaccion.

It fits my 2006 Impala.
Even though Amazon indicated that this part did not fit my 2006 Impala, after confirming the part number through a GM website, I ordered the part and it is a perfect fit.
