Wonderful!
This tastes good and is easy to make. I agree with the one review that the instructions were a little tricky to figure out. My bobas were solid, until cooked, not powder. The glass is very cute. It adds to the fun of boba. The straw that is not disposable is great too!!

How can I untaste this?
This was given to me as a gift and I looove bubble tea but this is honestly just nasty. The boba pearls first off had a weird smell to them that hit me as soon as I opened the package, like a mayo/french onion dip smell. Then once I prepared the milk tea it smelled like a burnt chocolate/coffee and that’s exactly what it tasted like. 40 mins to make some boba is fine when it doesn’t taste or smell strange but in this case it was just a waste of time and now I can’t seem to get rid of that smell or taste in my mouth. I took a few sips after adding a bit of whipped cream to see if it helped but it didn’t so I am throwing it away and won’t be making the second packet. The only thing I liked about this set was the cup and straw.

Do not trust - Bubble Tea
Tapioca pearls we mashed up and dried to a powder and couldn't be used. The pearls being the entire point of bubble tea. Packaging was slit up the back of the box and the content damaged. And not eligible for return.This was purchased as a Christmas gift for our young daughter who was very disappointed that she could not make the bubble tea.

This is good but you just have to do it right and have the right sweetener
This was good but while in the process I had burned my finger and it was confusing at first on the tea part but we knew what to do after a few minutes

Just terrible
The media could not be loaded. This was a huge disappointment! The tapioca pearls were almost powder and the directions are nonsense. First it says to boil with the lid off for 20 minutes. After that 20 minutes it says “take off heat and put lid on top and simmer for 20 minutes”. Okay, a simmer implies we still have our pot on the heat so do we let it sit for 20 minutes or simmer? It also says the pearls are good for ONE YEAR & the expiration is on the bag. It is not on the bag but the outer package states February of next year. (4 months from date of purchase) At the end of this process there are very few tapioca pearls as the package was mostly dust, but we do have a large pot of brown tapioca to throw away. I would like to say the very cute glass cup it comes with is it’s saving grace, however, we have not washed it and it is already missing part of its mouth. It appears to be stickers so I am guessing it isn’t dishwasher safe and likely won’t last through many hand washings either. While I love this concept the idea could be 100% better executed. If you want to actually have the reward of bubble tea at the end of the 40-60 minutes necessary to prepare this Id recommend another route.

DO NOT BUY THIS!
YOU CANNOT RETURN THIS - and trust me, you’ll want to. Not at all happy. This is misleading advertisement at best. It says it is a set of six. It is one set with six pieces. I NEVER would have bought this had I known what I was getting. Total crap.
