It's the best epoxy I've used
Used this with some thickener and cloth to patch a few holes in a sailboat hull. It's the best epoxy I've used. It sets up reliably, hardens well after several days and has good adhesion. The product leaked a little in transit, but its still great stuff. I like it better than west system, and certainly its miles better than anything you can purchase at a big box store.

Good stuff!
System 3 products almost always work well. The Clear Coat is low viscosity which makes a good base coat for exterior boat varnish work, followed by traditional varnishes for UV protection.

2 Part Curing
The 2-part resin cures more rapidly than described in the directions, creating a thicker than desired laminating resin. After calling the manufacturer, they described using a much wider container to reduce curing time. This product was being used per the manufacturers written recommendation on their Marine Spar Varnish system. After calling and taking w/ the manufacturer rep, he said he would not recommend the use of this system, which I find odd, since it is clearly described on the product containers. At this point, I would recommend any of this manufacturer's products.

Great product.
Easy to use, cures crystal clear. The low viscosity is very helpful for dealing things and not getting bubbles.

Just Right
Exactly what the racing Typhoon kit by Dumas requested: perfect for lining the inside hull for waterproofing.Appropriate size and price.

Rolls on nicely, cures crystal clear!
Used to refinish the exterior of an older kevlar/carbon fiber canoe. Applied using a foam roller and tipped with a 3" foam brush, however in the future I think I'd probably tip using a cheap disposable paintbrush but that's unique to my specific application. Excess resin cured crystal clear in the paint tray.Moving slowly, it took about 90 minutes to roll & tip a 16' canoe and I went through approximately 1/3 of the quart sized bottle for each coat. This product has a long open time and only towards the end did I notice the paint tray was starting to get warm due to the exothermic reaction of the resin starting to cure.If you're applying multiple coats, per System Three you should not apply subsequent layers until the previous layer has had 24 hours to cure. Since it does not produce amine blush, subsequent coats can be applied without additional surface prep.

A decent product. Low viscosity allowed deep penetration on old growth doug fir. Much more difficult to sand than expected (or compared to West Sytstem). I'd use again, but not where a really high quality table top finish is required.

Easy to work with, nice finish
Precise measurement + thorough mixing = wonderful finish. Brushes on like varnish.Note on exposure to sun; epoxies have poor UV resistance. A solid top coat of quality varnish will protect the epoxy.
