The material looks sturdy and it seems like a long-lasting background. The thing I didn't like about it, wrinkles are not easy to take off and it seems like a daunting task to remove all of them along the folding areas. I just don't have the patience nor the time to do it. I returned it a few hours after testing it.

Impossible wrinkles........I would be afraid to put in dryer. This is more like paper, than cloth.

This is very big. From the description, of 10x20 feet, I felt like it would look smaller. Unfolding it several times, I felt engulfed by its immense size. The material is of a canvas-plastic feel/look. It offers a lot of glare, which is good in a well lit room/studio. If you do not have a well lit room, or your studio has no lights on, there will be major glare in your camera/recorder. This material is made for being pre-lit with a white light. It does wonders for images/recordings, and will light up the set more as light radiates off of it and bounces else where, where it may normally not.In the description for the background material, it states that there may be wrinkles. There are. But, in the description are some methods to remove these wrinkles. They work fabulously and easily. I was able to get both hard and soft creases out easily, and when lifted up as a backdrop, it was not noticeable.I really like this material the backdrop is made out of. It cleans easily from simple messes that may from from it (someone wearing shoes, dust). In the pictures, you cannot even see where I did some simple clean tests (I rubbed some dirt on it, and some dust). This is not something for anyone to get, unless you have (or are getting) some bright white lights to light it up. The usage of the material being pre-lit removes any glare from flashes, and makes the background more white. In some practical uses, it is very large, and will help create an infinite background as you cannot see any edges. This is where the material helps some more. Being pre-lit, it will help remove the bottom curve where it hits the ground, making a more seamless infinite white. The material the background is made of is fairly thing (and as the title suggests, has some opacity to it). Color can leak through it too if not lit well, or it can be used in reverse for some great shadows (like how people who try to hide their face talk with a light behind them shining their shadow to the white curtain).This has great use in video recording and photography (of larger things, like people for example). I highly suggest this. I am sorry if this goes on and on about proper lighting and such. But I read some other reviews on this background, and some people gave negative reviews for it causing glare, or odd lighting. I just want to let other readers of this know, that lighting is key with a background like this. The products image shows how well it will look with a good lighting (appears to be a single light source in the image, but I wold suggest 2 light sources for removing more shadow).I received this product free or reduced price in return for a fair, honest and unbiased review.

I recently got a studio set up for Xmas and it only came with a green back drop. This is a little different. It's not cloth. It's more of a white tarp like material. It picks up dirt easily and hard to clean. It also doesn't have the loops to attach to the pole. It's more of a drape over. It is big but when you have to drape it over the top bar it takes some of the length away. It was stiff so hard to fold but it got the job done for my white back ground. I will be seeing mine so next time I can push the pole through so I don't have to worry about it coming off. I have several times where the girl I was using as my model would step or move funny and the backdrop started moving and falling. Maybe I didn't drape it over enough but I need it to cover a large portion of the floor to give the effect I was looking for. I took a picture so hopefully you can see the design or type of material it is. I received this item at a discount for an honest review.

This is huge and you may need help setting up. I am in the middle of moving and don't have the polls to fully show how it looks all set up but I did manage to take some pictures. Is heavy duty and is heavy. I am going to be using this a ton for all the family to take good looking pictures. I will post new pictures as soon as I'm all moved in. But so far it's great quality.

Great quality , this is a bright white, makes for good photos . It is the right length for what I do!
