Still Enjoyable
Still loving the manga; just wish the volumes would come out in English faster. I remember the second anime season of OPM ending ahead of the English manga release.

Inching closer to the "main event" invasion of Monster Central
The S-Class hero attack team meets at headquarters to exchange information and strategy, but the conference turns into bickering ... well, that's almost a comics tradition, isn't it? -- and almost inevitable given the presence of personalities like Tornado, and Amai Mask, who has promoted himself to the first-rank team. Meanwhile the heroes excluded from the team due to mistrust discover what's going on, and make their own plans to participate in the invasion of the monsters' underground warren. King figures in both situations -- he may not have S-class (or any) physical powers, but he does almost seem to have some kind of aura that can cause both confusion / mistaken assumptions, and conciliation. The attack team and a backup support team are airlifted to City Z, and encounter a monster ambush that has them heavily outnumbered. Tornado takes on the monsters' strongest individual, a menacing psychic, and ... And then the story kinda switches into a lower gear. The support team consists of fifteen A, B, and even C-class heroes, most of whom we've never seen before (or if they had appeared previously I've forgotten them). A number of pages have already been spent introducing some of them, and now quite a few more pages are dedicated to putting them into action against monster cannon fodder -- kind of entertaining, quite a bit of humor involved, but it delays, yet again, the launch of the "main event", the descent of the S-Class attack team into the monster lair. Some of the support team appear quite capable, some quite quirky, incuding the Amazonian "Captain Mizuki", who manages to turn battling monsters into a Track & Field event, some questionable, like Gearsper (C-Class 133), whose ESP helmet seems to be nonfunctional today -- why is he even there? Did nobody else answer their phone? Did Garo's 'hero hunting' so deplete the ranks that he's the best available? Oh, never mind. The other C-class hero on the team is Poison, rank 300, but he appears considerably more capable than Gearsper -- looks like maybe he's the absolute newest hero in town, hence has the lowest rank - ?? Things pick up a little at the book's end with the entrance of the monster Rhino Wrestler, with his penchant for rating the efforts of heroes opposing him. One-Punch Man on occasion uses the manga convention that individuals in certain emotional or agitated states are sometimes depicted as line-drawing cartoons, rather than in the art style of the rest of the book. It happens a lot with Tornado, in particular. Is there a name for that? (Darn it -- now that Amazon has eliminated the "comment" feature, nobody can answer that question for me!) I find it irritating -- for me it breaks up the flow of the story. Oh well. I still found this a pretty fun book, but I'm getting a bit impatient for the heavy hitters to go into action.

Best Volume Yet
Best volume yet in the series. I usually don't keep up with comics anymore but One Punch is an exception.
