Accurate Angle Gauge – Perfect for Knife Sharpening
The Klein Tools 935DAG Digital Electronic Level and Angle Gauge has been an excellent tool for precision work. I primarily use it with my knife sharpener to make sure I’m getting the exact angle on my blades, and it’s made a noticeable difference in consistency and sharpness. The digital readout is clear and easy to read, and it quickly measures both 0–90° and 0–180° ranges with accuracy. The magnetic base makes it easy to attach securely, and the compact size means it doesn’t get in the way while sharpening. ✅ Pros: Accurate digital readout for precise angles Measures 0–90° and 0–180° ranges Magnetic base for secure placement Compact and easy to handle Great for sharpening, woodworking, or general leveling tasks ❌ Cons: The small display might be harder to read in low light Requires batteries (included, but be sure to keep spares) 💡 Tips: Place it on your knife sharpener’s guide to ensure perfect sharpening angles. Store it in a safe spot to avoid dropping, as precise tools can be sensitive. Works great for other uses too — like setting angles on saw blades or woodworking tools. Always calibrate before use to ensure maximum accuracy. Bottom Line: The Klein Tools 935DAG is a versatile, precise, and reliable angle gauge. It has made my knife sharpening far more consistent, and it’s a great tool to have for any project requiring accurate angle measurements.

Wonderful pocket tool!
This is an extremely handy thing to have and it works great! Built well and seems to be very accurate. I love that I can bring this for projects instead of my big level. The price is great for what it does.

Love it. Works very well.
I use this to check the angle on my Ruixin Pro and it works perfectly. I like the ability to Zero out to get an accurate aggregate reading. It has leveled up my knife sharpening skills for sure. I spent a little more for the Klein as it is USA made and am sure the quality is better. We have a Klein plant in the city I live in.

Why plastic?
I mean, I know why plastic. Plastic cheap. But it still feels weird that a device that can measure tenths of degrees is relying on a base that can be deformed as easily as whatever plastic this case is made of. You can recalibrate the level; it works by placing it on a surface, then rotating it to face away from you. This should reasonably find true level, as long as the base and surface are flat. But almost anything could cause a plastic base to be not-flat. Almost anything can deform this sort of plastic. It does come with a nylon case, which should hopefully prevent incidental deformation, and I suppose that if something else happens to it, you should be able to sand down the plastic to get it flat again and then recalibrate. The recalibration process is not hard, but it's not exactly obvious. It does come with an instruction leaflet that explains how to do it. It seems like it would be a no-brainer to make it so that the leaflet fit in the case, but apparently the person who designed the instruction leaflet didn't think that far ahead. I mean, it'll fit, but you gotta kinda cram it in there. That said, it works well and is reasonably easy to read. I personally think that the icon that shows which direction it's tilted is backwards from what it ought to be, but worse things have happened.

excellent tool
Very accurate, strong magnet and very readable display. This is the third unit I’ve purchased for my shop. Couldn’t get rid of the other two fast enough!

Almost perfect
Does everything well...stable and easy to read display. Strong magnet and outside case is flat and square. My only issue was I needed to go through the complicated calibration process to get it to Zero. Would have expected it to be ready to go from the factory.

Measure angles precisely. Magnetic mounting.
If you are working with metal and need precise angle measurements, this little beauty is perfect. I’m setting up suspension on a Trail Buggy project and this tool made measuring caster angle simple and easy. Also made setting up driveshaft/pinion angle a snap. If you are a fabricator, this tool will come in handy!

This a great little unit, we have doing reno’s for over a year and I could have used this before now. It is more accurate than what I need but Tver easy to use and easy to read even without glasses which is a big plus. I am typically using it on top of my spirt levels as it’s more accurate and easier to see if you are level. Especially one the longest level where it can be hard to hold it in the right place and get a good view of the bubble. All up I would get another one if it stopped working without hesitation.

I’ve used this for 1.5 years and now it would not power up despite many battery changes.

Just awesome. I use this for bending metal conduit. This and a tape measure means you get repeatable bends over and over, completely removing the guess work associated with marking the former with a pen. Mark your bend start, put the conduit into the former and hold the conduit up with the bending handle. Put the inclinometer on the conduit, then zero the inclinometer. Pull to 91-92 degrees. Let the pressure off and check for spring back of the bend. You should have a perfect 90 degree. Easy, repeatable, accurate. A set is easy too, using a similar method you can produce perfect parallel sets, again repeatedly and accurately. This truly is an essential for anyone putting in electrical containment.
