This is really handy for loading .22 magazines. Very easy to use and quick.

Although it's not hard to load mags, this is a bit of a thumb saver and is especially handy when you want to load up a bunch of mags before a range trip.

Mag Loader
If you own a Ruger pistol, this is a must have that will save your thumb. Simple to use, very good design that makes is easy to speed load mags. Easy to hold, easy to load.

Great mag loader
Today I hit the range to do a little shooting. This magazine loader tool worked really well. I also have an HKS 22-B loader for the Ruger 22/45. I personally like the Hilljak version the best. The Hilljak loader slides on and off the magazine easily. You hold the magazine facing away from you, pull the loader down over the top, and just drop the rounds in. The HKS version has to be pulled down the magazine and has to be forcefully pulled off the magazine, once the loading is over. Plus if you have installed an aftermarket base plate to the magazine the HKS loader simply doesn't work as well as the Hilljak. I plan on picking up another as a gift for my Dad. Also the bright colors make it easier to find when you drop the damn thing in a slightly dark indoor shooting range. I know this from personal experience.

Unneeded, but works great
I picked this up while I was waiting to be able to take delivery of my Ruger. I've used other loaders with other magazines, so figured I'd need one for this. It works great, but there's so little pressure on the spring that this really isn't needed unless you have grip strength issues. But it's well worth the price if you do need it.

Works well, a little better than the pics, not needed for modern mags?
Nice item. 3D printing in real life seems better than the pics. The old/original Mk I mags are really hard to load. Modern OEM mags might not require this item (depending on your hand strength), but you be the judge :-)

Product worked
Used! I bought this speed loader "New" but received a used, coated in carbon loader instead. I Was told a new one would be sent, yet to be seen. But it does work as advertised.
