My kids are ten now and we still like this book after five or six years!

Loved this story! My kids love the pictures (finding that old raccoon on the moon) and the story is perfect!We've read it so often the pages fell out of the first copy. Going to get a new one!

Interesting pointillismStoryline is sufficient but not a great piece of literature I couldn’t live without

I bought this for my 3 year old niece who has become scared of racoons and the dark after one got too close to their house. I bought this for her so she could see the racoons were more interested in food than getting her. She really enjoys the story.

Great story about a raccoon how at night would sneak and do things in a man yard at night .Which the man got a dog to stop the raccoon from coming into the yard . But he named the dog Bad! I think the writer could have use a better name reading this to children under 5 “bad” means doing something wrong . Otherwise they really enjoy the story how the dog scared the raccoon and it jump to the moon
