Aramith Phenolic Billiard Ball Care

After trying a number of home product attempts, I ordered this cleaner. It was amazing. Still needs some elbow grease, but it cleans billiard balls spotless, and renews their look. Excellent product.

I play everyday and my 9 year old set of Aramith TV balls looked it. I've tried to keep them clean but they never looked new. The shine was just not there. So I finally tried Aramith Phenolic Billiard Ball Care. I put a few drops on a paper towel, which is enough to coat several balls. A little goes a long way. Then I coat a few, use a second towel to polish each one, then a third to buff with and they not only look better, like jewels on my table, they roll cleaner and I actually have to reduce the amount of english I put on my cue ball to draw it. This is the stuff. Get some. Remember, this is only for phenolic balls so I have no idea what it will do to for lower quality billiard balls.

It cleaned some stains of the cue ball

Bottom line first: It works. I bought a set of old, yellowed,Aramith balls for $20. The set had numerous chalk marks, hand oil, dirt and dust on them. I used this and Aramith's Ball Cleaner to get them pretty close to what they looked like out of the box. No product out there will remove small scratches and nicks but if you want to clean up/ restore an old set or maintain your current set, this product is for you. Be prepared to to have sore fingers if you're cleaning an entire set. I used two terry cloths. One for applying the Restorer and one for finish polishing with the cleaner. Using the cleaner after the restorer adds a nice shine to the balls. To me, the balls looked a little dull when using just the restorer. I buffed each ball after applying the restorer and again after applying the cleaner. After some trial and error, I got the process down to about 15-20 minutes for each ball. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because of the sore fingers.

Works great

Balls may not look dirty but use just a little bit of this and you will be surprised how much dirt comes off. Not to mention if you have spent $$$ on a very nice set of balls this will also help keep them looking as good as new. When this bottle is half empty I will be buying another bottle to have ready.

Doesn't do a great job getting the balls CLEAN of chalk and other marks. Magic Eraser works better to actually clean the balls with much less effort. But Magic Eraser leaves the balls dull looking. This product does work well to give the balls a nice shine. So, I will clean the balls with Magic Eraser and use the Aaramith Ball Care to polish the balls.

This product does what they claim, the cue balls came out of my cue ball cleaner machine like they were brand new. Excellent product.
