Medical Terminology Made Incredibly Easy!

This book is straight forward and I really appreciate that. I think a lot of required textbooks for school, although important, have a lot of extra words squeezed in. I also appreciate the layout of the book. I do not have to search for a term or subject matter through tons of small indistinguishable text. I can open up to a chapter and easily flip through it to scan for the subject matter/term(s) I'm looking for. Of course there is also an index in the back.I did find the online resources for students to be very bare. The resources available are study cards and pronunciation guide. It lists resources available for instructors to include powerpoint slides, student activities, ect. Unless you are a verifiable teacher, you cannot access these. I think access to those tools would be the most useful to me as a student, and find it odd that it is restricted. The great news is I didn't get the book for its online resources, and didn't even know there were any available through the book to begin with. On that front, there was nothing gained, nothing lost.It's a solid book. I do not regret this purchase!

This is one of the best Incredibly Easy books I have purchased. Although it goes a little beyond the scope of most medical terminology courses, it gives a great overview for A&P. It has some great pictures, but my favorite aspect is how it gives the big picture of each organ system, which allows the smaller details to fit into place very nicely. I highly recommend this for anyone who will be taking anatomy and physiology. I also think it will be a great resource later on because it is such an easy and fast read.

Have not gone through it totally yet but it seems very handy and I like the information I have seen so far.

This is a gold mine of information and I am so happy to have purchased this bookI have purchased this book to review the material over this summer.What an incredibly easy to understand book and fun to work in.It has a few pages of excerises to complete at the end of each chapter.I do highly recommend this book for any medical assisting student.It also review A&P, how awesome!

Although the book is totally useful for what I intended, it took awhile to get a response from the publisher as to the availability of instructor resources. By the time I received their response I had chosen another text.

I highly reccomend this book for anyone entering the medical field. Medical terminology is a vast amount of information and is comparable to learning a second langauge. This books layout is made in a way so that even if you think you are not retaining the information, all of a sudden you are becoming fluent in the medical world. Great tool!

I ordered this book for an upcoming med term class I'll be taking. It has given me a head start on the subjuct. It's easy to follow and very interesting. I am now looking forward to my class rather than being intimidated by it. Plus the book was delivered in four days. That was a nice suprise.

Must have book for everyone going into the medical field. I love all the Made Incredibly Easy books because they make learning easy and fun. I used this book in Med Term and bought one to use as a refresher. Definitely recommend!
