Purchased this item after reading copious reviews online for all the different products available; this seemed to get the best ratings. I'm delighted with purchase.The item is strong and sturdy, easy to use, and works a treat. It even looks good. Dogs not keen on it but they are fussy about their feet. It really is very quiet, a soft hum that won't scare dogs. So far I've managed to use the unit to trim around 8 claws; they'll tolerate it for abit and to be fair it's their feet being handled, rather than the tool, that they object to. Used for the first time following vet visit for a long overdue trim. As always, standard cutters leave sharp edges and the claws can split, so this grinder is perfect for smoothing off the rough edges. Works very quickly, just a second or two and the nail is done.The three ports for different sized claws is a feature not all similar tools on the market have, it's one reason why I chose this model. I have Whippets, who have slim claws so we use the medium setting. Item was fully charged upon receipt, I will use the USB port to recharge when necessary but it's goping strong at present. I can't comment on longevity as have only has this item a fw days, but based on my experience so far I would not hesitate to recommend it to pet owners. I would, however, recommend watching a YouTube video about how to use these grinders, to ensure that they are used correctly. There are plenty out there to watch.

We have a Border Collie that is frightened of her own shadow and very anxious. We needed a way to trim her claws without freaking her out. After reading a view reviews opted for these nail grinders. Charged them up and got to work. Couldn’t believe how calm she was during the trimming. I just take a little bit off at a time. My wife gave her treats during her clipping. Probably worth wearing a face mask (I’m sure you’ll have one handy) as there is a slight burning smell as the claw is ground down. That is normal. Great price and are good quality.

This is a lot better than the one I had before, my dog is a resuce with many problems. He is a lot better when I use this on his claws, have actually managed to shorten his claws. Would recommend to anyone who has a nervous dog.

This product is amazing, we have a gorgeous rescue that didn’t like the her nails being cut, my hands would ache trying to get them all cut and she was so tense and unhappy when I had to cut them, it was a one paw a night kind of job. But then I saw these being advertised and she has no problem with noise (hairdryer etc) so I thought I would order it and see and wow what a difference! I can get so much shorter without the chance of going to close and hurting her, my pup literally falls asleep when I do her nails now! I introduce it slowly for best result to keep her calm and there was lots of treats afterwards.

I have a westiepoo, she is 6 years old, around 6.5kg. I already had a similar product with sand paper attachment and clip. But never work too well, sand paper one is taking forever, clip is made my dog and me nervous . So I were very sceptical before buying this product, but I am surprised. I charged up straight away after receive the product, so far I have grinding 4 weeks now, one time each week. It still not losing battery yet. Also the grinder works very very well. I can see the results in few seconds. Very very impressed, just wish I bought it much earlier. About the noise, for me is quite quiet, but my dog is not very happy I can tell. But if I gave her one treat for each toe, I think she can tolerated it. Very great product. Happy customers.

This has made life so much easier. Our little bichon is a rescue dog and is still very anxious when han handled. She would squeal and wriggle when we tried to use the clippers and it was a traumatic event for all of us. As a result her claws got really long. It has taken a few nights to grind the claws taking off a tiny bit at a time but we have managed it (with 3 of us holding and copious amounts of chicken). She is getting much more cooperative and we feel so relieved. We have another dog and it takes no time at all to do hers - she prefer it to the clippers and sits happily to have them done. So far we haven't had to recharge the battery. So glad we bought this.

Dog is running away as soon as i turn it on and i did start it away from him and waited for him to get used to the sound and even them he took off. Works great on gel nails lol
