I connected it to my work Cisco VOIP phone. The only downside I've found after a month of use is that while walking down the hallway, the mic does pick up the sound of the air passing by. If you turn your head slightly, it goes away. Other than that, people I've asked have said the clarity is comparable if not better than talking with the handset.
